Comet(Mr. Snappy)

Fusilade(The Best and The Ugliest)

Ruiner(The Tight One V2)

Phoenix(The Bird That Drifts...Not So Great)

Sentinel XS(Mrs. Snappy)

Oracle 1st Gen(The Rookie)

Wannabe Drift Cars that are sh*t...

Sultan

Elegy

Buffalo 2

Penumbra

Feltzer

Coquette

These are the cars that people use the "Slidey Cheat" to drift with in SP, this not even close realistic drifting at all. I'm not saying this game is realistic, but there's no grip what's so ever when you use that cheat.

Rocket Skates

CrazyRay, are you completely incapable of making a positive comment about ANYTHING? You b!tch and slag everything and everyone off. Really getting on my nerves now.

On topic, the Futo is the better drift car IMO.

Well said.

WHOEVER SAYS THAT IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIFT IN THIS GAME, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO!

Go ahead, change the font, the size, the color, everything to try to force your opinion of what you think you know, on the rest...it doesn't make you right.

OT: I will vote for the futo for fun powersliding, because in all honesty the thing has less grip than an oil slick. The Banshee is also fun to slide around in.

"Lol" is right.

Thank you for giving us a good laugh with your die hard, try hard, dedication to knowing about "drift."

...pfft. smh.

Ballistic Jello

The Super Diamond, fully modded. The long wheelbase seems to help maintain sideways momentum.

I found the secret to drifting in GTA V. It's the Del Perro pier. The wood surface is just slippery enough to do some decent drifting. The parking lot makes for a great place for some figure 8's but you still have to keep the counter-steering to a minimum.

My vote is the Futo. I would think the awd of the Sultan would make it extremely difficult to drift. Banshee and Carbo are both pretty decent too.

You cannot drift in this game as it does not allow you to do any of the below:

Drifting is a driving style in which the driver uses throttle, brakes, clutch, gear shifting and steering input to keep the car in a condition of oversteer while manoeuvring from turn to turn. Drifters emphasize car control by coordinating the amount of counter steer (or opposite lock) with the simultaneous modulation of the throttle and brakes to shift the weight balance of the car back and forth through the turns. Furthermore, they strive to achieve this while adhering to the standard racing lines and maintaining extreme slip angles.

If you need to know about drifting I suggest you start here http://www.driftworks.com/blog/drifting/

not my video.

if i had recorded every drift ive ever done in this game, everyone can say that DRIFTING IS POSSIBLE.

I've drifted 10 different vehicles in this game with no problem. all you're doing is juking the transmission...

and who the f*ck said you have to use all those things in order to drift, you looked it up on the internet? try drifting in real life. my car pushing only 150 bhp and i can drift the sucker in 2nd gear no problem, no shifting, no parking brake, just clutch throttle and steering(barely any steer)

Schwartzer hands down best drift car in the game. Slam that thing and enjoy :)

I like Sultan but when practicing in parking garages (slalom, circle and figure 8 drifts) I succeed most with my Stinger GT.

The perfect circle at Weasel Plaza (around 2:10) was fukking awesome! I'm getting a Futo as soon as we get more space. :p

Been a Sultan driver since October. Can't really 'drift' in this game though....rather just controlled power slides.

Neither! Banshee is by far the best and most fun to drift!

^^^^^^^^^^^

DIS GUY. DA WISE GUY.

anyway, his tutorials are very good and thorough. he can teach you how to downshift (he calls it mid drive speed boost) and his never ending burnout tut is an awesome thing to apply as well.

im a huge fan of powerslide whipping my banshee sideways, making sure im lined up well, and downshifting before the apex of the turn so i accelerate out while spinning tires and countersteering.

if youre on ps3 and you want tips / to meet and drift, hit me up!

How do you know what I do in RL? Driftworks is the best place to learn about drifting and see project builds and I am a member so yeah I use them and direct people there to educate them.

Futo has my vote for drifting. But ironically enough I own a Sultan because I cant stand how hideous the futo looks.

The futo looks so f*cking bad! they (R*) attempted to make a different version of Corolla AE86, most known because of the "Initial D" anime, lol, even FUTO it's an anagram, (FUTO-TOFU, the protagonist of Initial D sells tofu), I'd be way happier if they just gave us the real Corolla AE86

0611_impp_12z+toyota_corolla_ae86+right_

looks so good!

You do realize, that while yes Futo was a stab at Initial D, that they were going for the Levin Coupe, which is also an AE86 as well.

8620.jpg

It's not like they pulled 90% of it from their ass, it's actually quite similar. Though I'd love a Truneo Hatch or even coupe as well. Or hell I'd even like a Levin Hatch to go with the Coupe, Futo Hatchback would be awesome.

That said the Levin is also quite popular as well.

Go get a schwartzer and slam it. If you think the drifting in that video is good you've obviously never tried the slammed schwartzer :p
