I own two "drift" cars, Futo and Sultan RS, and in my opinion, Sultan is way better than futo when it comes to drifting.. Futo it's more appropiate, but Sultan it's more aesthetic and I can handle it better.

I've tested them both downhill, and Sultan just looks f*cking great! however, it's a matter of knowing the car too.. Sultan it's been one of my first cars ever, and I got futo last week.

However, I'm a "drifting" fan, I even made a crew where I'm the creator-manager-only member, lol.

What do you guys think? Futo? Sultan? other car?, tell me.

Futo has my vote for drifting. But ironically enough I own a Sultan because I cant stand how hideous the futo looks.

I'd say the Futo is good for real drifting while the Sultan is good for powersliding. The Banshee is insane for drifting, btw.

The Banshee and Dominator are pretty good. Good handling, but apply the handbreak and they will start sliding.

The Cruiser Bicycle is the best drifter. Next is the Karin Snipe

Futo. The sultan sucks for drifting. It just grips back on the road if you lose traction.

The futo looks so f*cking bad! they (R*) attempted to make a different version of Corolla AE86, most known because of the "Initial D" anime, lol, even FUTO it's an anagram, (FUTO-TOFU, the protagonist of Initial D sells tofu), I'd be way happier if they just gave us the real Corolla AE86

I own both, but Sultan doesnt drift as well as well as the Futo because it just gets back on track.

But when i had ''NOS'' in my Sultan, it was a pretty good drifting car

The Sultan is a lot more grippy and it can easily force you out of a drift (or powerslide actually, its 4WD). The futo always carries on with ease unless you hit something :p.

I own both of them as they are iconic GTAIV cars, and I love them both.

I look after em both more than any other car in my garage.

I actually didn't mentioned it on the OP but with "drifting" I kinda meant powersliding.. it's impossible to drift in this game, at least to drift well..

Futo, because science. Sultan's AWD, Futo's RWD - you can throw some decent slides with a Sultan, but for actual drifting, AWD means too much traction to properly power a sustained slide.

On the flipside, the AWD of the Sultan makes it a better general street racer - throw it round a tight turn, and it's less prone to spinning/sliding out than many sports cars. Likewise, AWD also helps it accelerate out of turns quickly, so recovery is a lot easier. Same goes for the Elegy RH8, for the same reasons.

Well, actually since I owned Sultan for 3 months more or less, I can handle it really well, so I'd say I can make some good slides, but yeah, anyway, for me Sultan it's better down the hill, not in sharp turns, the hills have a lot of curves, but not much sharp turns. However, if you can handle the Sultan well, it's easy to powerslide it everywhere.

IMO, the Turismo R is one of the best drifters. It's best on drifting with Off Road Tires/Wheels. BTW, I use to own and heavily use a Sultan RS.

CrazyRay, are you completely incapable of making a positive comment about ANYTHING? You b!tch and slag everything and everyone off. Really getting on my nerves now.

On topic, the Futo is the better drift car IMO.

Drift Cars.

Schwartzer(THE ICE SKATER)

Futo(Drifts, but not consistent)

Comet(Mr. Snappy)

Fusilade(The Best and The Ugliest)

Dominator(The Tight One)

Ruiner(The Tight One V2)

Phoenix(The Bird That Drifts...Not So Great)

Sentinel XS(Mrs. Snappy)

Oracle 1st Gen(The Rookie)

Vigero(Oversteer Happy, but Controllable)

Banshee("Too Tight, couldn't pull it back out!")

Youga(LAWD JESUS!)

All must be slammed to drift properly. There might be more, can't remember.

Wannabe Drift Cars that are sh*t...

Sultan

Elegy

Buffalo 2

Penumbra

Feltzer

Coquette

These are the cars that people use the "Slidey Cheat" to drift with in SP, this not even close realistic drifting at all. I'm not saying this game is realistic, but there's no grip what's so ever when you use that cheat.

I'd have to vote for the Vigero, easily the most controllable drift car I've played with. I didn't like the futo and the sultan jumps out of a drift to easily as others have said.

The Vigero will hold a slide round a corner til you crash or choose to get out of it and doesn't get all squirmy when you correct it! Plus the beauty of the muscles cars means if you find it's got too much grip then try a Sabre turbo and if it hasn't got enough go for a Buccaneer.

Where's that guy who has that avatar "Ah, geez .. not this sh*t again"?

"Powerslides" people.

Some muscle cars are really good when it comes to drifting but I find it unaesthetic. :p

A square is a rectangle but a rectangle is not necessarily a square.

I'll give you a little advice you may wanna use from time to time. If you don't care about something that other people do care about, don't even bother to comment, you'll look like somebody who's interfering in a subject that's none of your business if you don't give a sh*t about it.

I'll give you some advice as well. Welcome to a public forum where your thoughts and opinions are subject to the thoughts and opinions of others, even if they contrast what you think/value/believe.

You also so quaintly left that option for "other". I'm interpreting that broadly and differently: not this sh*t again.

Here's some free insight as well, your thread will be hijacked by people arguing the definition of "drifting". Don't like it? Too damn bad, you indadvertedly opened up a can of worms. Don't believe me? Do some searching.

No, I think you're a little bit wrong, you're saying " Welcome to a public forum where your thoughts and opinions are subject to the thoughts and opinions of others, even if they contrast what you think/value/believe " People can tell their opinions, but I don't see why saying " oh, not this sh*t again " when I didn't disrespected you.

But, according to you, this is a public forum so I can say whatever I want, then, f*ck you, I don't give a sh*t about your useless comment, and remember, this is a public forum m8.

I'm not going to take any time whatsoever to even bother looking into what's behind that. I did though take some time to add a small contribution to my OP, which you seem to have overlooked.

For every person that says you can, there will be more that say you can't.

@BJ: Like I said, this thread will be hijacked. The one I cited is one such troll that will partake in that action. Call me disrespectful if you will however I'm right.
