Levianne
You can delete it, but there is no point in doing that, as it would be automatically downloaded again upon starting the game. Unlike on the xbox, where people can download it manually or even play without it for a brief time. PS3 is kinda unlucky in this case, but I wouldn't change to xbox for nothing in the world. Levianne
Thanks Levianne, i will play on and watch when my ps3 blows into pieces by these freezes You're welcome. TBH I've got the feeling, that the freezing issue occurs mostly in public lobbies and less in private. I know, it's not the best advice, but try playing IO sessions. Maybe it saves the life of your system. May not be the biggest fun ever, but you can still enjoy the game and save nerves of yours that way. I'm playing IO mostly and not a single freeze so far (well one single freezing prior to 1.10 and a couple of cops after me that time. Since then, nothing, all just fine). Thanks again i will try IO sessions from now on, but everytime R* come up with a new patch, this will include freezes, glitches, exploding systems
reform
It is possible, but you wouldn't be able to play online, or even play GTA while connected to PSN. You could play GTA Story mode without the patch though as long as you stayed logged out of PSN. Edited April 17, 2014 by reform
Levianne
It is possible, but you wouldn't be able to play online, or even play GTA while connected to PSN. You could play GTA Story mode without the patch though as long as you stayed logged out of PSN. Have you tried? Yesterday I wasn't connected to my PSN and started Minecraft PS3 Edition. Guess what? Although I wasn't logged in, the game automatically updated. I think with GTA V/Online it's the same. The game downloads the latest patch despite the fact, that you're not logged in. As long as you're connected to the internet (wireless or via cable). Unplug the cable/turn off wireless and there you go. reform

Probably a bad description on my part.

onefast96svt
Delete patch 1.12?!? Fking gonna blow up my ps3 soon with all these freezes and sh*t My ps3 was freezing every 30 sec to 3 mins or so. Sometimes I couldn't even get out of the garage. I restored everything and that didn't work. So I went and bought a used copy from GameStop and installed off that one. I don't freeze anymore and if I do it's only once a day or so. Then I returned my copy back to GameStop.
