Tankers: Just stop whining. Here's my story

Several recent/active tank threads got me thinking. People need to take responsibility for their actions and embrace all facets of the human experience and range of emotion.

Like most has-been billionaires, I have a tank. However, I hate it's mechanics/driveability, the fact that it's a cop magnet and blows every car that touches it up and I never really liked war games crap anyway. So I rarely use it except on occassion when (usually after a few or more drinks) I'll get a hair across my ass for no particular reason and make the call.

Now to the point of my thread. When I am in the grips of one of these spells I am a complete bastard and I know that full well. I feel it and I embrace the feeling. The screams and insults of the spawn-killed do not go unheard in my mic. I don't drive around honking my horn or flashing my lights, feigning freindliness or looking to calm beating hearts. I kill kill kill....I am a perfect D-bag for no reason other than I am in a tank and I am drunk. (better than being in the drunk tank).

Eventually the obvious climax to such a poor choice of behavior ensues and I find myself blown up or pulled out of my tank. At this point, I remain unarmed and I am treated to a good old fashioned beat down by several pissed off players. I welcome this phase of the shenanigans, it's somehow cleansing and almost zen-like. I actually think it's the best part, even Cool Hand Luke didn't take a beating better than my character.

After several grissly deaths I come out it, shake it off, but I never go passive! Instead I quickly leave the lobby and emerge reborn, as it were, as if that dark part of me never existed.

It is my conclusion and belief that everyone able to should experience tank rampages from the D-bag's perspective. Just as they should experience wall breaching bitch tactics from the bitch's perspective.

Just own it when you do it and don't pretend you didn't mean it.

Feel the power rushing through your veins. Leave no one alive.

It's good to do it once in a while.
