maybeanotherone Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 what can you do against a jet coming straight at you from above? or even below that's how i normally deal with buzzards, use height as an advantage and attack from the blind spots. the cannons just need to hit the buzzard once i have better odds of crashing into it than it shooting me down. And to answer somebody else's question. You can't do anything about a jet coming from above or below. There are actually more then just one method to get rid of a jet coming from above or below. They work! Trust me. maybeanotherone Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 (edited) sure it's possible to dodge the cannons. but there's a fail proof technique that deals with anything in the sky including other jet pilots. nobody ever escapes a jet pilot that forces you to make evasive maneuvers with the guided rockets to quickly switch to cannons and hit you when in range. every dogfight where the pilot was giving me trouble that technique always helped me overcome him the jet in skilled hands will dominate the sky and most of the ground it can fire in all angles and it's the only vehicle capable of attacking vertically, you know right where everything else has a blind spot impossible to aim at. only the stunt plane is agile enough to evade the lazer, not overcome it, except for a kamikaze mid air collision. I'm already good with the Jet in dogfights but I want to improve my air-to-ground combat also it would be really useful for other newbies. P.S: I already use cannons alone. About getting a new buzzard when your old one is smoking: just take it nice and high near the heliport, jump out, open your parachute and stay high. When it's crashed, call Pegasus and get a new one and just glide down to it. You get a star maybe, but it's easy to lose it.
