Those saying they want a small apartment and an additional garage must have forgotten that allegedly we need a big apartment to take part in heists.

Oh yeah... :/

I put a non-descript car outside of my garage once...and put a sticky on the side nearest the garage.

Sure enough someone came shooting around the garage...throwing grenades or stickies...(thankfully not blowing up the car I had rigged)...

Finally they decided to just walk up to the garage and *boom*.

Then I left the session.

Comedy.

It the fault of everyone who said Weazel Plaza was so good. I did warn people to keep quiet but no one listened. Now Weazel Plaza is turning into a Council estate.

I f*ckING KNOW DUDE LOL. And I was one of them...I was all - "Move to Weazel, there's no hassles up there etc etc".

Then thought - why the f*ck am I opening mouth about this sh*t haha. When in head home now (in game) I'm in the habit of lining the driveway with sticky bombs (to clear when im heading back out) and going into passive before entering my garage (in case the garage gunslinger is lurking

Edit: That's of course if I can even get home...if there's chaos I just drive right on past and politely sit it out for a bit haha

I'm usually in an Invite Only but when I am in a public lobby, I'll leave my cars in the garage and go out the front door in Passive. I've been doing this ever since I drove out the garage to find 3 tanks at the end of the driveway which then chased me back into the garage.

Might just buy a normal and nondescript apartment, and buy a separate garage for my cars.

I live in Eclipse Towers at the moment but I seriously want out now. :panic:

Serious question, who gives a f*ck what's going on outside your apartment? Does anyone actually spend considerable time in your apartment? If so... What a hilarious waste of time.

I understand it may be a good place to lose cops, or hide from bounties, but what an incredibly boring playstyle. Not my cup of tea, and to each their own, but do you guys set your spawn points to your apartment? Why?

I like to start from my apartment and end my session at my apartment.

And if you want to avoid certain death when you exit from your garage or apartment, you take the time to give a f*ck about what's going on outside of it.

I've been at Weazel since we got the 500k very early on, and I've been killed coming out of my garage a staggering two times.

I missed the $500k but been there about three weeks later and only been killed once.

There must be some extremely unlucky people in these forums as they always seem to face:

Hackers, modders, garage killers, people killing them outside their garages while others like me have never faced those people or faced them once or twice.

This is only recent...I've never had a problem ever in Weazel Plaza...but the past few days have been mental.

I would like to say, I've never been killed outside of my garage going into or out of it.

But there have been many attempts...unsuccessful...but attempts none the less.

Richard's Majestic never has a war outside and the view is killer. Will never move out.

I do want me an off-roadin' garage out in the country though, can't wait.

YES! I love to look at Del Perro Pier at night with the ferris wheel.

Those saying they want a small apartment and an additional garage must have forgotten that allegedly we need a big apartment to take part in heists.

Which might actually be something to consider when additional properties are introduced - have a smaller property for day-to-day operations (...and for avoiding coming home to a war zone), but use the second property slot for a high-end, simply for heists and garage space.

whelp, there goes my plan to move to wezel.

Was thinking of moving my 2nd there, but I'm tempted to wait for the DLC additions - partly to see if there's something new worth having, partly to see where the carnage ends up migrating to...

Overall, threads like this make me cherish my Alta Street apartment - got a decent view to the Marina (which is only a minute away to grab my chopper), it's centrally-located, the garage is easy to access, there's a subway tunnel right opposite for sneaky getaways, ...and no-one ever seems to go there!

I want an apartment with a view of either Del Perro or Vespucci. Sound like Richards Majestic would be a good place to move to for that purpose, am I right?

In any case I'll wait for the update first, but I guarantee Eclipse will be getting the chop from me very soon.

I had my second character living at Del Perro, which in the past few weeks has become more of a war zone. Because of that, and in anticipation of the second property ownership, I sold it last week and moved to the six car mid-level apartment at the marina.

At first I was really sorry that I did it. The mid- and low- end apartments are all dark and dingy with permanently closed drapes, and I thought I was gonna miss the bong and the wine, as well as the spaciousness of the high-end crib. After a week, I'm happy I switched.

I don't have to run all over the apartment going back and forth from the closet to the door or the TV. I also like the on-foot exit, as it is well protected from on-the-street griefers (although I haven't seen any since i moved in). It's also a short swim to the heli-pad, and when I order up the Speeder from Pegasus (which we all do all the time, right?), it's right outside my door.

Of course, once the heists are released ...

I'm the same, never been a problem as most of them are too lazy to turn a few times to get to it

I used to have that apartment, and then i changed to Del Perro mostly for the 10 car garage... It still is a great apartment if you really dont need a 10 car garage....

Anyway, i've never seen violence in Del Perro...

Well, darn. If that happens, screw it - I'm going to swallow my pride, move back to my original garage on Dry Dock Street, and go back to sleeping in my car...

Whenever I jump into a public session, I still see most of the action located at Eclipse.

Its early days...I still see a lot of action at Eclipse (as usual) but seeing more than usual ruckus at Weazel...I have a feeling it will escalate...the last few times I've had crazy sh*t in that area, including a guy in the garage. Just blips everywhere...crashed helicopters and all that haha
