Have I Got A Problem

Every couple of weeks I keep ending up feeling really suicidal and this has been happening since about November? Help me?

Find an immerse video game (like Skyrim) that should keep you busy for hours so you won't have a chance to think.

 

Else work it out.

How much pain can you stand before you will die.

How much of a mess do you want other people to clean up.

How long will it take.

If it fails then what will happen.

Will you be maimed.

Will you be rendered a vegetable.

Will you spend your remaining life in 'Care' of the State.

Does the brain continue to function after the Medic declares you 'dead'.

What do you actually gain by not being a pain in the butt to the other people.

If you have a God will you be forgiven, or will the nasty people who run the Religion gain by it.

Most people are quite selfish about other people tending to their own life, so how will these people feel about it. Would any of them really care a week later.

Do you have 'obligations' to anyone, other than money.

Do you think you might be interested in what happens tomorrow.

You can't 'stick it to' anyone if you are out of the game.

 

GET A CAT, instead.

I suggest you call the suicide hotline to just talk to someone, if not then speak with family members, close friends (could even be friends online)

Play some video games to keep your mind off things, and tell yourself everything will work out for you eventually even when it doesn't seem like it will, life always has a way of changing before you even expect it.

Keep your head up dude, if anything let us know how it goes and keep us updated.

Just focus on doing things that make you happy. I went through some deep depression around 10 years ago and still have some bouts with it but when I start to feel like that I try do something that I really enjoy to keep me happy. Seems to be working.

Seriously... I don't know to say it but I start feeling really alone. Very few people bother with me, I just don't know what to do. Then things start to get to me and I feel really down and then things come to my mind that I cant get rid of and I just want to hit my head off of a wall. It won't stop.

 

I was 18 this February

Just get some kind of hobby, anything that might get you interested, and focus on it for a while.

Please do call the local help hotline if you get these feelings again. First of all, they're totally normal. Secondly, talking to someone frankly about it - even a stranger - will help you immensely. There are tons of these hotlines that are free and anonymous.

Talk to your local doctor or general practioner see if they can refer you to a mental health expert or else try to find a decent counsellor yourself so you can talk about how you feel to someone.Before that talk to somebody in your family or a friend who you trust about how you feel. Life can change and improve for you.

And, be careful of who you talk to.

What with all the Terrorist and School violence going on you don't want the Government to have a TAG on you just because you are deep in the 'dumps' for a couple of cays.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, man. Just breathe and try to relax.

 

I'm going through a really low point in my life right now, but I'm still super young (19), so I just get it off my head and focus on all the diffderent things that make me happy.

Find a reason to live, like a person or something that you can rely on.

 

If you want to die it must be in an epic way, and make sure it is recorded and shown to the rest of the world, so that everyone else will know what not to do when you reach the lowest point in your life.

 

 

Go to a pyschiatrist.

No, no! Hell f*cking no!

 

He will prescribe medicines that are bad for the OP's mental health. Chances are that his suicidal thoughts will only increase after that. I can say it based on my own experience.

 

I would recommend giving/receiving more hugs. It will make you feel better instantly.

I have been suicidal since I was 8 years old. I attempted suicide when I was 8 and the again when i was 10. After the second attempt It kind of opened my eyes to how bad it would make my family feel If I did end up going through with it. And it kind of gave me motivation to live. I still have the depression and the thoughts of suicide (thought about attempting again a few months ago actually) but I have developed ways to deal with it and keep going. You just have to find something that makes you happy and give you a will to live. Just one more day one day at a time really. For me my outlets are VIdeo games. Creative writing. Good TV shows/movies. Reading about and watching videos on nice cars like Porsche or Mercedes also kind of gets my spirits up for some reason.

 

So I would say finding stuff that you are interested in and makes you happy and take your mind of the suicidal thoughts is the key.

A tip: search for saabkyle04 on YouTube. Lots of in depth vehicle reviews.

Go out and walk some hours in the park while listen music and relax, think again what do with you life, show to the people who you are and why you are part of this life, see yourself or regret too late.

I never think in suicide, but I too had low-life feelings and a very higher depression, some few weeks ago I start my goals again because I leave some years ago.

Music could help. But the happy music, not the sad kind. If it doesn't help, here's a reason:

 

GTA f*cking forums. This place is full of sick people, from what I see, and I love it. Nothing like scrolling through gen chat to find a topic made by a guy who stole his friend's taxi to make some money. Or the half-assed replies that come from the people who are first to answer a topic.

 

Or, Game Grumps. Go on Youtube and watch their videos. Seriously.

Don't do that. Unless the person is a close family member. Unfortunately, it's in people's nature to... well, be human, which usually leads to disappointment and will lead to further depression on your part. Edited by DeafMetal

OP. I found reading Eckhart Tolle really changed my life, and perspective on a lot of things. Not to get into details, but i have been to hell and back more times than I care to admit. Please at least check out some of his lectures, this is not a religious point of view. More of Philosophical. He basically started writing after years of compulsive anxiety and Suicidal tendencies.
