Should the "Give Cash" option be returned?

Simple as the title says...

 

As we know the "Give Cash" option was removed back around update1.4 because of hackers going in and stealing other players money and giving it to themselves.

 

Should the "Give Cash" option return to the way it was before or should it be left the way it is where you can only give money after "Jobs" & "Certain Events" such as robbing the store oddly enough you can't share money you got from an armored car robbery though.

 

Yes or No & Why?or Why Not?

 

If Yes should there be a limit on how much you can give in a day and if so how much and would that be One GTA Day or One Real Life Day?

i like it as it is since i figured out the sharing option lowers your BS points.

 

they patched performance upgrades bought by other players, R* doesn't want us giving cash and helping others with cars to sell at all, period.

I would imagine that it might come back if R* is ever able to fix all the ways in which players can make illegitimate money. As long as there is "fake" money in the game world, R* will do whatever they can to keep it from being spread around. I would like to see the option to give cash return, but it's probably unlikely.

Maybe limit it, but yes it should be returned to the game.

 

I'm generous in real life and even on GTAO, I used to give a bit of money and maybe a gun or two to low level players to help them out.

Well according to the online trailer, heist payouts revolve around sharing the cash at the end of the mission. So if the heist payout system has not been changed (Which it probably has) they will need to bring back the share cash option with the heist update.

 

The stats page show an option to share cash, mine says no. So I do have a feeling this option will eventually return to the game. Question is when?

It should, but it won't cause there are two types of players in the game, ones that know how to make money and ones that don't. They rely on the people that don't know how to make money to buy their stupid cash cards. And they players that do know how to make money will always make more, so they don't want us giving it away.

No, they would definitely not do that. Unless they absolutely forced you to share it, the cash holder(s) would just bounce with all the money. Even if they forced you, I'm sure there'll be a glitch to get past it.

 

Yeah I imagine at some point it will return, but personally I don't care. The only people Id give to is friends/crew members, and they all have money.

If it wasn't for the cash card sales, you wouldn't have an online like you do now.

 

I can understand the hate for cash cards, but for crying out loud, no one cares about your opinion on cash cards. If YOU don't like it, don't buy them.

 

The share cash option was not revoked due to cash cards nor is it still unavailable due to cash cards.

I think it should return but in a different form. I think there should be a trade screen mechanic from which everything from Cash, guns, ammo, cars, etc can be traded, that way this also gives receiving players the ability to DENY being given something without their knowledge or permission.

@Mook, yeah I guess. A gift feature wouldn't be a bad idea, like giving someone a couple of rounds of ammo and some armor.

yeah, but unless there is an ability to deny being gifted, it creates a situation like we had before where people could be gifted hacked or glitched items thus needing to have a clean sweep again.

Well let's look at this logically.

 

They removed the option to share cash because of the DNS issue we had a few months back.

They capped bounties because players were able to put billions of dollars on a player. You can no longer gain more than 9k off a bounty regardless of the amount set on a specific player.

Recently with 1.12, you cannot grab a car off the street, upgrade the crap outa it and give it to another player. Why? Because you can spend literally 300k on car upgrades - Something you cannot cap so the option was removed altogether. Sure, low level players wouldn't mind the help, I can understand that getting a freebie is cool. However, Online was never designed to get freebies like especially in mass amounts. This shortens the gameplay of the average player and something R* would like to avoid.

 

When the share money option returns and it will definitely return, it will also be capped.

 

And R* is not making these changes because they don't want you to use them. The options are there to be used however, you have your niche glitching group who abuse the features of the game. And with this abuse it irritated a large portion of the community.

When the DNS problem came about, sure it was nice to receive so much millions of dollars, a lot of players enjoyed that but not everyone. R* support site was filled with removal queries because some didn't want that money.

No actually R* removed the option way back around patch 1.04 like i said in my OP the way it worked with the DNS it was a cash multiplier as far as the servers knew you were giving away cash you robbed from the store you couldn't just give away you had to do something to unlock the cash giveaway system via robbing the store.

 

The originally locked it because Hackers were going in and stealing money from other players bank accounts and then sending the money to themselves.

 

You are still able to give cash but only cash from Robberies and Jobs.

Yeah, I would like to see this feature return.

 

I would also like if at least half the money your holding was to fall when you get killed. And no phone banking, strictly ATMs only. All these feature would add a real sense of value to the in game money
