Why do people think, that everyone with a tank is a moron?

I have a tank and only use it if I am having trouble with someone. I am only going after that one person then it seems like everyone else is going after my tank since it's out. trying to destroy it when I am only after that one person.

Let me translate…if someone is owning me in free roam, I go get my tank to even the score since I can't do it any other way.

 

no I am meaning if they have a tank and they are after me I go get my tank out and go after them.

I have a tank. I only use it occasionally. If someone kills me whether I open fire on them first or not, whatever the situation - I will call for my tank and spawn kill them till they leave. I then send a nice message and follow them to their new session till they come off GTA. I then check every day if they are on and join their session and repeat the process.

I took out my tank to deal with a bunch of tools and ended up spawn killing different people for few minutes till i realized they where not the same players. So then i was the tool...lol

 

 

Bottom line.. If you take tanks out for daily drives you are basically looking for trouble and everyone is a target. I mean, who in their right mind takes a tank out for a Sunday Drive?

I only take my tank out to combat twankers and then I blow mine up. I used to give it to low levels but that would back fire, literally. Every now and then I get frustrated with the police and I go on a cop killing rampage, but I leave other players alone unless they shoot rockets at me, and then I will gently knock them down with turret and honk the horn. I will drive off and if They give pursuit, well, you know. The only other time I tank is when 3 or more players are kicking my teeth in.

Personally, I think tanks are stupid and the people who amuse themselves with one are probably severely bored or probably 12 years old.

 

Having said that, I do enjoy the pandemonium and mayhem that goes on in the streets. I find it more entertaining than an empty lobby. I personally just avoid the tanks if I'm busy doing something else. If I'm bored myself, however, I might try to destroy the tanks like a suicide bomber just to piss them off.

 

Point is, don't get your panties in a bunch just because someone enjoys playing the game in a way you don't, as long as it's within the rules of the game. Those two players simply could have avoided the OP all together.

The only time I used a tank in Free Roam was when I stole it out of Fort Zancudo. I didn't blow anyone up except Cops, FIB, and NPC's. The only way I messed with actual players was going off radar, sneaking up behind them, and just honking the horn. Some of the reactions to that are pretty priceless.
