budcat
A good racer will crush a loser in an Entity/Turismo/Adder with any of the supercars. sh*t I bet I could do it in my Surano. You may be right but you seem to forget that there's also a lot of really good racers who owns an Entity/Turismo/Adder who are going to beat the crap out of you if you drive anything else... Just sounds like cowardice. Who needs to win every race besides people who masturbate to their stats? I've got a 1 in 3 race record and I've never owned an Entity or Turismo. My last 20 victories were in a Voltic and I actually improved my ratio during that time. The "underdogs" are more competitive than people give them credit for. I do actually want to win every races. I don't see why I'm a coward for wanting to make the most money everytime I race. The OP says he's tired of losing. I have no doubt that you're able to win with a fully modded Voltic. It's just that driving an Entity/Turismo/Adder gives you a better chance! But if you're worried about money why spend a million dollars on a car that will give you no significant advantage so you have to win 50 races at best to make your money back? If all you want is to win every time then spend money on one of the expensive cars. But that wasn't the question. BSEANO
Easily the Turismo. It might be ugly but $500k for a car like that is just crazy. Not to mention its actually faster than the Entity in a drag race. Edited April 16, 2014 by BSEANO
ultim84
And I'll repeat: ALL THE SUPERCARS ON MP ARE THE SAME SPEED!!! So these comments on "turismo's keeping pace with a Adder or Entity" are void. ANYTHING can keep up with them in the super class. Hell even all the sports cars could aswell seeing as all cars have a top speed of 160MPH. The time your car takes to reach top speed is what matters!

Intoxica7ed
Don't get an Adder, too expensive and you'll be owned by decent Entity and Turismo R drivers. Turismo R is nice but it sucks in the corners, the back end gets squirrel-y . Entity is the way to go if you're going to be racing all the time. Dottie
Im pretty sure all (or most) super cars go the same speed. But the acceleration value accounts for horsepower AND torque. so acceleration really counts. this is why supercars can off road so well while vehicles made for off roading struggle. R* shouldve either reverted back to SA style acceleration (2 values; acceleration value + how gradual the vehicle accelerates; so you could make a high torqued slow vehicle) or created a more realistic acceleration system which makes torque & power 2 separate things. Sorry to burst your bubble buddy, but try to race with a Voltic against a skilled racer with an Entity or Turismo etc. you will lose everytime. I have, 3 times, and I won twice. A skilled driver can win in ANY super. As I've been saying countless times the top speed is capped at 160 (can reach higher with a Bati RR wheelie) and with the slowest super, the Voltic, going 200MPH it's limited to the exact same speed as EVERY OTHER SUPER, but with better Acelleration. Basically, atleast in the Online Section of the game, the voltics Acelleration makes it superior to the 4x the price Entity and Adder and it's got much easier to control handling aswell. Put a skilled driver in an adder and entity, and put the same driver in a Voltic, the Voltic will win. Sorry for bursting YOUR bubble.
bloatedsack
The Voltic is nifty, and perfect for tight tracks, but anywhere that opens up with straights it will simply be eaten alive by any of the others. It brakes, turns, and takes off like no other car, but the top end isn't there. You will need to rely on technical tracks to keep it in front. However, the Bullet is the answer. The Bullet has the top end speed that the Voltic lacks. It won't take the corners as well as the Voltic, but when you're dealing with tracks with straights, it'll eat the miles quicker than the Voltic can. So, you decide which sort of tracks you see more often, and you pick your budget car on that choice. Or, optionally, buy them both. The price of both a Voltic and a Bullet, fully modified (inc. armour) will still be less than an Easymode XF without any modifications, and only somewhat more expensive than a fully kitted Turdismo. The best part about using both of them is the fun you have wiping the smug off the guys off the chromed "tier 1" cars with your supposedly subpar budget racers. sweat pants boner
intity: is fast for noob drivers because it is very sticky and has lots of safe understeer turismo: is great for races with tight turns. prone to snap oversteer infernus: sucks. if it goes sideways your going to spin out because it has no steering lock. adder:good all round car for racing. drives heavy and is awd very predictable
ultim84
Hi, first post here. I've lurked these forums for quite a long time, seems to be the best place to discuss GTA! Anyway, I'm trying to have at least one of each type of vehicle. I am yet to buy a supercar and I'm tired of getting beat in races because people are using their maxed out custom supercars. I'm lost when it comes to picking which one to buy, I was edging towards the Turismo because of the price. Any input would be great, cheers So.....after reading all the replies....what will you buy? Even though top speed is capped at 160, it will still get smoked on a straight by an entity, adder or a turismo. And yes, you are correct the Voltic is probably the fastest accelerating car from 0-60 however after reaching 60MPH it will accelerate a lot slower from 60-160 than an Adder or an Entity etc. And just letting you know, Entity's handling is beyond Voltics handling aswell. So keep that in mind next time you're racing online with your Voltic, not that it really matters since the majority of GTA Online racers are absolutely garbage

drinkduff
Turismo is the Budget supercar. By budget I mean its the cheapest car that does keep up with the top two cars in the game.In Races. Entity is still the all around king. Adder in a long straightaway might have an edge. I don't think the "160" Speed cap really exists otherwise sports cars in theory would keep up after accelerating to full speed. Turismo is close to the Entity but in races it lack the traction. In FreeroamThe Turismo is really nice because you most likely won't be trying to corner at full speed. And its cheaper in a wreck (bomb). The "Bullet Proof" car because there are no windows is a scam. I drive around in a convertible. With the top down. I've had people free aim at me at the head (non sniper rifle) and the armor keeps up despite them shooting at me with nothing to block the bullets. But in all honestly to win races these days. I mean real races you need a fully upgraded car. So I suggest finding someone to trade races with you until you get 52 wins.

A good racer will not crush a good racer in a faster car if the track permits.. Not even talking about Long Haul. Don't get me wrong.. I use slower cars all the time too. The only time i win with my bullet is in pub races against blind dumb asses. Give a really good racer an entity or turismo and hes gone and you wont be doing anything special in a surano... Beside maybe getting a DNF. lol. @ all cars having the same top speed. I wish that was true... But it sure as hell is not true.
