Hiding your personal vehicle

I always hide my vehicle. Bushes, crates, tunnels. My favorite is the little chopper pad. Drive just beyond the big gas tank, hop the ledge into the water drainage and park it up agaoant the "overpass/wall" just as you hop over. Thus it's hidden from traffic and from the air.

I do this too. Very rarely will I leave my pv in plain view. Ill go far as to leave it round the block and jack a car to drive to the helipad or wherever. Had my pv destroyed a few times when no where near it so I play it safe (er) now. Have used the bush at the sandy shores af plenty of times too. Not completely fool proof but better than out in the open.

Oh and obviously, having a bright garish paint job/chromejob makes it a teeny bit harder to hide your vehicle if you're stashing it off a main road..

 

I mean.. I find it a DAMN sight easier to hide my cherry red Picador than I do my bright neon pink Sandking XL with the full rear body work... strange that...

If it was a normal-looking vehicle people would probably just skip right over it...for awhile, back in the day, I would insure a normal vehicle and do all the mods but leave the paint a normal color...people were surprised when they unknowingly blew up a PV

 

Yeah a few of the PV's I've got look standard, so you can get away with parking them in plain sight in a parking space and people just walk on by. I do this too. I use a very plain looking but fully modded Zion quite a lot. Park it sensibly anywhere. Never had it blown up when left, but I have parked it near LSC and have someone try to sell it. I tend to keep a lot of my PV's looking fairly stock. I currently have a Rancher XL in cream and black, stock wheels, no tints, no xenons, and the blue/yellow license plate it comes with as stock. It does have a vanity plate but in the format of the stock plates (NNLLLNNN) so it's completely indistinguishable from a random NPC car.

 

Looks a bit out of place outside of Ponsonby's, but no one ever destroys it. Hiding in plain sight is often best.
