Commander S
So very many layers of tasteless brilliance - a chrome hearse, with dollar-sign rims. (putting the 'fun' in 'funeral', amirite? ) coach_wargo, fw3, SecludedMemory and 1 other

EarthboundMysfit
Painful lesson learned: don't paint your garage in chrome. Luckily I had the foresight to have never wasted my money with such a hideous paint scheme.
The_Mossberg500
Anyone else gone through this transition? My entire garage was filled with all the best vehicles from each class, mostly for racing. Each car was chrome with green money rims, both because it matches my crew colors (green, silver, white) and because, well, I had the cash. But as I've matured in the game, so has my tastes. I'm still seeing chrome Adders, but less and less of them. More creative styles are being applied and I thought it was time to upgrade my garage. However, the downside is how ridiculously expensive it is. A Baller, for example, cost me about $200,000 to fully and upgrade and paint, yet it only sells for $57,000. How does that work? I dunno. Anyhow, it feels great and lends a fresh new excitement to the game. I haven't bought any new vehicles in a while, so this is a treat, despite the $$$. Here's a bit of before/after. Again, curious if many others have gone through the de-chroming of their garage? Cheers! Entity: Baller (chrome to a my crew theme, Boston Celtics) Bati (went from all chrome to a Boston Bruins theme): Elegy (chrome to NE Patriots theme) Blista... sorry, I didn't have the heart to change my baby. She was my first chrome, and she'll stay that way 4eva! ♥ Other vehicles were treated with other themes, like Exemplar to Red Sox theme, Bravado to Halloween, etc... bensons
The baller didn't go for much when you sold it because of what you did to it. Think about it, modded cars in RL never sell for more than what you spent on it. fw3

fw3
Okay, so I really took to heart many of the comment you all left - and I'm grateful for them, even the less-than-complimentary one's, which in my opinion, reveal hidden truths about my tastes. I chose to go back and rethink the cars I have, what I'd like to "say" with them in the game, and the enjoyment I get from playing the game with those particular "board pieces," if you catch my meaning. So, I got rid of the Billy Turned Six Today colors, like the Optimus Prime and the neons, which are fine for some, but I've kind of moved beyond; I also got rid of the Disney colors and, because I'm an older player, I went with "classy," with just a little touch of obnoxious flare. I won't post them all, but here's the one car I wouldn't de-chrome, now un-chromed. My perfect little Blista, looking fiery and good to go. Feel free to share your opinion. All my cars (except the chrome Hearse) all resemble variations of this style. I am happy! So, again, thanks for the feedback, all. In a way, feels like I just a whole new garage! Cheers! Praz94
..Why would you chrome all the cars in your garage??? I mean, it's great that you came to your senses and took it all off, but seriously, that's probably 200K+ down the drain. Probably during the days where everyone had billions so 200k essentially was worthless fw3
