It's nice, it allows the mind to either operate on a more creative level or even just shut down, like a zombie brain.... makes things like peanut butter and kicks cereal would taste good together or general meetup threads might succeed. General nonsense...

It's so hard to describe being stoned. It's so different to being sober but also so mundane.

It won't make sense to a non-smoker but the best way I could describe it is, your mind feels "fuzzy". You feel warm and comfy but also dopey. Everything tastes good, everything has a sense of humour, games and films feel so much deeper, it's relaxing and calming, it makes you either super talkative or introverted.

f*ck it's great man, but you'll never know until you try it yourself.

I've been an inventory guy, working with processes and procedures. I thought I would have to be a budtender to get in the industry... pretty psyched.

oh I coulda' told you to go for it a long time ago.

 

the industry needs professionals.

they hire people to upper echelon positions all the time. it's only the kids working the front line at the cash registers who need to work their ways up as bud tenders. if you've got serious management experience (or marketing or financing, etc etc) then serious dispensaries are looking for you. and have been for a few years now. the industry in Colorado is really conscious about trying to make a good impression here for this grand social experiment. they want to legitimize this thing the right way.

 

as you know, it's clearly not just tie dyed tshirts and dreadlocks anymore. dispensaries want to be enterprises. quality employees mean quality companies that attract quality CAPITAL INVESTMENT from places like Wall Street and the entrepreneurs from around the world who are looking towards this new Gold Rush. the end goal is national expansion and buyout. billion dollar businesses.

 

I've been looking at the industry for a while now, thinking about how I could parlay my current professional experience into a Green job. I'm not even 30 years old but (at the very least) as the industry evolves it could make for some phenomenal mid-life opportunities. it's not just the buying and selling of weed. eventually we're gonna' need night clubs and theaters and entertainment that caters to stoners (compared to how everything right now is just based on alcohol consumption).

Just made the amateur mistake of putting some strong sticky through my grinder, spent the last 20 minutes or so picking it off the teeth and now have to pick it apart and sprinkle it into the spliff.

Definitely underestimated the stickiness of this green.

yea i've toked to all sorts of different types of music. reggae, dub, Tool( listening to Tool while stoned is f*cking intense), and experimental bass. I haven't toked to Indie yet, theres this band called Warpaint who apparently makes music that's meant to be listened to while stoned. cant wait to try that out. they got that fall time vibe to them...

 

and apparently some snowboarders like to listen to chill rap while snowboarding and toking, definitely will have to try that in the winter

I tend to get high on a regular basis so smoking to something is kind of beside the point.

however certain music gets me off more than others when I'm super baked.

but music like that usually has something to do with attachment to a particular memory. we listened to a lot of Incubus during Spring Break of my freshman year in college and it was just magical for a lot of reasons. great friends, great times.

I've only taken ecstasy once. I basically got shouted one. It basically just gave me an increased feeling of energy, and heart rate. I become more social, but it can give the jitters to some - which I got on the come down, for some reason. I'd advice you to take one or two, seems it would be your first time. Also, it may be a good idea to take a pill from a batch that you know aren't f*cked. Every time you're taking something like that, you're always running the risk of getting f*cked over.

From hearsay , if you want to try you need to make sure you're hydrated. Like 9 cups of water. Even more.

Also - don't have sex on it, or else sober sex will never feel fee the same. And like don't take too much or else you'll gain a dependence and be depressed as sh*t.

 

From what I've read on erowid and M.A.P.S - Ecstacy is great in small doses.

I had the interview for this, on Monaco in the dirty part of Commerce City (I know... but this was RIGHT by the refinery), the offices were in these construction trailers. People seemed nice, but didn't really seem like they new what they wanted, more like they are having problems and hope hiring someone... anyone... would help. I'm willing... but I didn't feel any chemistry at the session so I'll be surprised if they call back. It was hard as hell to find though...

"Molly".... oy, (old man rant upcoming) in my day, Molly meant ONLY ecstasy that was pure, 100% MDMA, meaning it was awesome. And pretty damn safe, plus, the next morning you would feel like royalty. Ecstasy, when used right., is so much fun. Heightens all senses, makes everyone so in love with everything, best hallucinations I've ever had, and god the "oneness" you feel. But yeah... I wouldn't have sex on it, or orgasm in any way... not because it'll make everything after just crap or a shadow of what it could be, but it was just weird. I get too in my head about what is exactly happening and it's not enjoyable when it goes beyond kissing and rubbing.
