I always wanted to try edibles, could never be bothered actually getting round to making them though. It's always just so much easier smoking the weed when you have it.

The last time I ingested I was already pretty wasted. I ended up half-assing it by peeling off one of the cookies on an ice cream sandwich and throwing the weed inside. The texture was a little funky but it did the trick.

I'd say yes to a pot Twinkie. I have an edible made up for myself but I probably won't want to take it today like I had wanted to. I had 4 wisdom teeth ripped out and I haven't eaten all too much so I don't want to upset my stomach. I'd smoke but that's a no-no as well. Looks like a mini tolerance break for me; until this Sunday that is. I have to work an 11 hour shift!

I rarely smoke, but edibles are way safer (better for your lungs and all that), and I feel provides a bigger body high than just smoking since you're ingesting the thc oils directly.

It's hard to get the potency right in brownies. My buddy would make them and would only make the servings an inch square just in case they were too potent. Not that it really was that bad if they were. Worst case, you sink into the couch a little further than expected.

 

My fave is a nice fat blunt.

Well, that's a nice surprise! The thread gets reopened the day I start getting stoned again.

Scored weed after a long time and at a very wrong time. My troll mind played me. Why not get high just 30 minutes before uncle's birthday dinner which you have completely forgot about?

Had to greet and talk to everyone while I was totally baked. Eyes cannot lie when they're high, you know? Not a bad time considering the amount of food that I stuffed in my stomach. Everyone seemed so entertaining.

Question: do any of you throw away the resin? I find that most people do and I just don't get it. sh*t tied me over for days at a time back when.

I never throw away the resin. At the end of every month, I usually do a good pipe cleaning and smoke it up. So many different strains gets mixed together. It's quite blissful.

I used to save resin before I moved to a place where you can buy hash by the bucketfulls.

resin is super dense of course and will always get you baked, but it's terrible for your lungs.

The problem with eating anything is that your stomach acid typically destroys half of it.

I really don't like to smoke the resin, even when I'm desperate to get stoned. It tastes horrible and I always end up bummed out after since I have no real weed lol.

Same here, though for some reason some people say it's just a placebo effect. It's like "no, you're so toasted that you don't even realize that you're toasted".. Sometimes I'll smoke a little tobacco out of the pipe before I scrape, to help get all that gooey, hard to scoop out stuff out with the more solid chunks.

Eh, I think I've felt like that before. Best advice I could give you is try to get out and get a little exercise. You'd be surprised how well you feel in the evening after some kind of athletic activity, not to mention how well you ought to sleep.

The only thing I really like about it is the headrush from all the different strains. It's like, "am I supposed to be THIS high... or this high"?
