Coquette all the way. Racing, the 9F. Just messing around and showing off, the Coquette.

Is there a performance difference between the 9f and the 9f cabrio?

no.

 

i cant understand this community......

 

9F = Better top speed, some understeer in corners (oversteers when pushed) , suspension feels stiffer..

9F Cabrio = Better acceleration, a lot of oversteer, although it's a more precise machine for corners, few more mods than 9F Hardtop (like Carbon panels on the side)...

Obey 9F - The 9F has very fast acceleration and one of the best top speeds of the main sports cars.

The car steers light and has a great turning circle, which means you can take tight corners.

 

However you need to drive the 9F with great care at low speeds and at high speeds the car is very unstable. The smallest hump or bump can make you spin out or crash. It is also a tail happy car that you must correct the instant it starts to slide. If you don't correct a slide right away, you can forget the win and take your 9F out of the wall. Summing up, the speed is good on this car but the handling is very hard.

 

Invetero Coquette - The Coquette is a very stable car. In fact, it is one of the most stable cars in the sports class. It has good brakes and a nice turning circle. The acceleration and top speed are not the best, but they are still better than the most other cars in this class.

 

You can take corners really quick after another cause it handles so well. There is, however, a downside to the Coquette. It can go on 2 wheels very easily.

 

So basically the 9F wins

Owned both. 9F accelerates faster, is faster and handles a lot better. 9F has a lot of grip due to it's all wheel drive, therefore you won't spin out in a corner if you drift.

I sold my 9f but I might get it back with the new garage space coming...it was a lot of fun to drive...although I never raced with it. The coquette is a beast though. I love that car. Might be my favorite car in the game...it's tons of fun to drive and very responsive. It does what you tell it to do, you know?

Against most of the other cars in it's class like the Carbonizzare, Comet, Jester, Elegy, Feltzer, rapid GT and let's not forget the over used Sultan...

It's not AWD, of if it is it's not got the traction of one.

 

It's a superb car don't get me wrong, but it's very unstable at high speed and even a slight nudge can create a 360 spin

You think a comet is faster than a 9f or coquette??Sure the jester, elegy and feltzer are better and the rapid gt is probably on par with the 9f/coquette.But no way is a comet better.

AWD doesn't mean super grip. I believe the Koenigsegg (sorry if it isn't right) Agera R can launch better than the Veyron SS.

Again an example I've just thought up. Look at race cars that get insane amounts of grip: F1, Indy cars, Stock Cars (US) probably get some decent grip. All RWD AWD does have it's uses in some places though like rally. Not to mention Pikes Peak.

Statistically the comet is better. The Rapid GT is on par with the 9F's braking (which is the highest of it's class) but the Rapid GT one up's the 9F as the Rapid has the best acceleration in it's class.

Are we driving the same car here? This never happened once. In fact it's the same opposite. At high speeds it turns like a tank.

Coquette. The nod may go to the 9F as the better performer, however I much prefer a balanced ride over something that oversteers to the point of being uncomfortable to me. The customization and styling of the Coquette is superior IMO.

 

The Coquette is beyond composed and so easy to correct a mistake with. It may not have a personality in the sense the 9F does, but I'm not always looking for something like that.

Prefer the look and the feel of the Coquette, personally, although the AWD of the 9F makes it a really solid drive to throw around corners and accelerate quickly out of them.

Might be worth replaying 'Chasers' and 'Rockford Roll' a few times - you get to nick them in each of those missions, so it's a good time to test one out vs. the cops, without having to fork out for one.

(Did that with the Banshee and 'Blow-Up II', which ultimately sold me on it)

Coquette is way more fun for the ears and eyes. If you want to race you by a Carbonizzare or Jester, nothing else matters. But the Coquette is a pleasure to drive around.

 

It's a pain to get the hardtop though, it can be very expensive, I strongly dislike the open roof and have had to sell off a few of them to get hardtops.

The 9F is anything but AWD. Or 4WD. The drivetrain isn't even set up like an Infernus. The 9F is RWD.

 

Which is interesting that the "Audi" sourced cars in this game are that, RWD.

+1 on the Elergy hate, looks as bad as it drives. I've fully modified it twice to see if I can get my head around it but it literally makes me feel like I'm going to throw up and have a strtoke at the same time whenever I drive one. Its hands down the worst car in the game for me. I think a lot of people havecEllergy hate syndrome because you hardly ever see them used despite being free and supposably fast.
