Nothing i'd like more than to file a report on some wall glitcher or garage camper, but my console freezes up upon opening up that report menu. I haven't had one freeze since the new update, I have a ps3 fat (bought new in 2009), I replaced the HD with a 320gb when I got it, I play the game on disc, I live in NYC (I know R* has offices here maybe being physically close to the servers makes a difference), what factors could possibly make a difference? While I'm not freezing, I feel bad for those who do. I bought Fallout NV at launch and couldn't play 15 mins without having to hard shut down. NOW if u look on the R* site it recommends providing account name, what system they were one, brief report of incident, AND PROOF via photo or video. there is an email addy to send this to. So i speculate reports thru the pause menu are negative points that most likely aren't reviewed while actually submitting an email with evidence is. Now back to my point, the system is flawed. YES, what you described is an option for reporting. its called griefing. what exactly constitutes that? more importantly ive played online since inception, i have 1 dedicated character with a rank of 202. Ive been reported as soon as i join a lobby. while it never provides by who or for what reason, im assuming someone feels its impossible for me to be this rank. ive gotten reported for several other frivolous reasons too. when someone is in a wall breach, if i know how to.. i go into passive n enter. give em the finger then leave. god mode n tankers... passive n finger. if ppl wanna snitch that's their prerogative. it wont do much n it's not my style. what i am for, if you haven't seen... is a hilarious video on this site of someone who kills a garage glitcher then proceeds to attempt to spawn kill him over n over.
