Turned wheels for photo?

So I've seen a couple posts of snapmatic pics that feature turned wheels on parked cars, I tried searching around but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have a method for keeping the wheels turned once you've exited the car?

Edit: Finally found the info no need to reply this can be locked.

Mind sharing it?

Get a friend to sit in your car with the wheels turned and then set access to no-one. The wheels should stay turned. I think that's how you do it.

Best method, have a friend sit in the drivers seat, cranking the wheel.

Then, call a mugger, and take a photo.

I know this thread is a few days old.

But here is the solo method for anyone interested.

  1. Park where you want to take the picture.
  2. Steal a car and park it as close as possible to your car on the passenger side, have the front end of the car you stole be at your back wheel.
  3. Steal another car and repeat, just on drivers side.
  4. Get in your car.
  5. Back up between the two.
  6. Turn the wheel, get out and it'll leave the wheels turned.

Example of a car I did this with.

I tried this and it worked, but the car became all low-poly and the fenders looked all jagged and the car was missing detail.

Now that you mention it I see it too. It must happen when you teleport out of the car and details don't render.

You can see the difference in the back lights here.

With turned wheels.

Normal

The tail lights are more round on the normal photo. :/

We call this "stanced" in the car scene. (Providing the car or truck has been dropped)
