What we get up to in free roam.

First time post and unsure if something similar has been posted, since I started doing this without any prompt from the community. 'The Train' I have seen done before, but not the other two.

So here's what me and my buddies often find ourselves doing in free roam. All for the lulz. We often find hard to reach locations (not glitches, so there's a chance they can succeed) and set bounties on each other. With a concentrated amount of cash, often the whole map wants a piece. These skirmishes often last a long time when they get going, but does require an initial period of patience. Please contribute your free roam 'games'.

 

The Train

1. Get on train (hop on or parachute on)

2. Set bounties on each other.

3. Survive.

 

note; can be combined with the following method (Tank Train).

 

Is That A F**king Tank?

1. Get Cargobob.

2. Get tank.

3. Cargo lift 1-4 tanks to the top of the Maze Bank building.

4. Set bounties on each other.

5. LOL your ass off as the helicopters/jets kaboom after the long trip up the tower.

 

Wombles of Los Santos

1. Go underground (Follow the tunnel North of the river).

2. Lay sticky trap and surround it with non-personal cars (can be set at various vantage points).

3. Set bounties on each other.

4. Explode the stickies as the come looking for you.

5. LOL your ass off as the large explosion in a confined space occurs.

It's not as fun if there's no risk of dying.

Ha, it's our less favourable option. Wombles wins out most times. Tank Bank requires more of a set up that could be stopped at any moment with a buzzard or jet.

Having bounties on your head while taking joyrides on the train is really fun. Its crazy seeing how almost half the lobby start chasing after you while you rack free kills unless they get clever and start using a buzzard/jet then you're doomed. Might do it with the crew today

Lol, I was kidding but, usually when I get a bounty I go get a Lazer, or lead a wild goose chase around the perimeter of LS.

I have had many rage at me over this! I wouldn't use a wall breach against other players imo it's very cheap and shows low skills.

Although I know just about every wall breach so whenever I find someone taking advantage of this I'll enter the same spot in passive and when I think they have their guard down shotgun to the back of the head sucka!

My friends and I also play the bounty game on the train. A smart fellow that we had killed quite a few times figured out a good way to get us, though. He went to an intersection well ahead of the train and laid a few stickies down.

 

Still, a fun game though. We also like to go to the top of the tall construction sites and do that too.

Recently in free roam. I took the mods of my sentinel. Resprayed it artic white with red roof. So it looks stock. And then fit it with remote bombs.

 

Park it up somewhere in a parking space or side if a road and retreat.

 

Watch as players zoom past it. See it. Turn around and go back to it. Check it for sticky bombs and then drive it to lsc. Detonate it when they're about 5 metres away. Rinse and repeat.

 

Platinumed car bomber doing that over the last couple of days. And it works so well with rare cars. When I tried to use other cars they just got blown up. But tje sentinel is one someone will nearly always steal

 

But the sentinel seems to be a car a lot of people want in there garage....

Did the first one recently, was amazing, but only one person persisted with us. It would be better if I could get a group of people working together to get us and they didn't end up resorting to the Lazer to get it done.

 

I'm gonna suggest we try the last one the next time I get online with my mates.

I saw the screenshot of someone's character driving the train. Is this actually possible? Haven't used the train method since November time. I knew there was a dude in there, but I didn't see how to access it.

I suggest you all play Wombles. It requires the most waiting. Them sussing out where you are. Be prepared to text them 'underground'. But watching them on the map run around like Pac-Man is part of the fun IMO.

 

But here's another game for ya that negates the wait time.

 

Wank Bank

1. Head to the bank.

2. Lay stickies at the entrances.

3. Hide behind the bulletproof glass.

4. Set bounties on each other.

5. Detonate stickies as they come in.

 

There's still a lot of people that still don't know about the bank's existence. So when they 'discover' it, they'll almost certainly comeback for more.

We tried something different the other day. Bounties on each other, get a boat, ride around.

 

If someone has a sense of fun, they get on a boat and chase. If they don't they got for the Lazer or whatever it's called. We ended up jumping out, swimming, getting to the airport and taking a plane before getting blown up. Was worth every penny of the bounty.
