Has anybody got any ideas on how to mod a bike in the mod shop to look like a cafe style racer? I managed to bag myslef a bagger (har har) to mess around with but it's not really got that look.

I agree. I dislike how there are so many classes of vehicles, then you get 1 class for all motorcycles/dirtbikes/etc.

old cool bike that you tinker with all week, then go to the cafe on saturday, hopefully without getting caught by cops for illegal exhaust etc. then it breaks down on your way home and you spend another week on it. it nevwe goes longer than to the cafe

How do people get a cafe racer and a street fighter mixed up its not difficult to distinguish them from eachother, We sadly can't make one on GTA V because there are no oldskool sports/touring bikes, Shame really as there isn't an aweful lot of bike choice in V.

Not quite.

"Transport cafes" are the English term for truck stops. Back in Ye Olden Days of the Mods and the Rockers (source: Quadrophenia), the aforementioned rockers would race their motorcycles from truck stop to truck stop, or "cafe to cafe" if you're Engalandish,

THey would strip their English-manufactured (Norton, Triumph, BSA) motorcycles of unneccessary parts, as well as install various options like low slung "clip-on" handle bars in order to make them faster and more aggressively styled.

Hence, "cafe racer." At some point Asian fetishists came along and f*cked it all up and made them into rice rockets and likely churned out sh*tty japanimation fetishizing them into something for neckbeards and weeaboos to get wet over, but that's of no interest to me.

That said, I'd like a Triumph, please. Bonneville.

So, then, explaining the etymology of something and using the proper historical context is akin to being a sneered-at hipster?

Jesus, your generation is more f*cked than ever. Good luck with the self-loathing.

Uh no, just the last half of what you said starting at "At some point Asian fetishists....". I love how you say my generation is more "f*cked" than ever.....chances are I am older than you, and if not.........you certainly act a lot younger. Another thing, who says ignorant spew like that.....talking about neckbeards, weeboos, crotchrockets, etc. Either way, you sound like a lost cause. I also love how you threw in self-loathing. If anything is wrong with any generation....it is people such as yourself. Good day.

Thats not a Cafe racer at all, Thats a Streetfighter Akuma bro. Looks good though, except for those white walls which take away all the sporty look, same with the 2nd collor babyblue.

PS you will also get that version if you set body value to 0.

I in fact have pretty much the exact same base collor:

Also Cafe Racers are pretty much outdated costum sportbikes. They are not on par with todays sportsbike at all. the PCJ 600 is the closest thing, but even that isn't a Cafe racer. It would have to be a lot older and perform less good.

However to make it look like one, The PCJ is the bike to go for.

My PCJ 675 black logo edition, 2th collor black which isn't an option in LSC saddly, and gold rims.

Todays sportbikes look a hell of a lot better 'IMO' and perform 'fact' a lot better. Around 200 HP stock on todays 1000CC sportbikes is crazy. And the fairings make it look a lot more lean and clean. And provide a lot of better aerodynamics.

Old Cafe racer:

Yamaha-Xs650-Cafe-Racer-by-Chappell-Cust

Todays generation sportbike from Yamaha:

Yamaha_YZF_R1_1600x1200_Wp_By_Greg_Kmk_6

Makes the old look like mopeds.

I never noticed that there was a PCJ 675 badged version. That's pretty cool.

Also, you can change the 2nd color on the PCJ using the iFruit/Charles method.
