Few days ago, I was on youtube, and I found this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ptlwBivdSc As you can see, there is a transparent background menu. This is really interesting, and I asked myself how the hell did they do it. I think that they use something like : if (player_in_the_menu) *(BYTE *)0xB7CB49 = 0; // game not paused With this, even if you are in the menu, the game is still running. But, it doesn't make your menu transparent ( I mean that the background color is still black, you can't see the game ). I thought about the fronten2.txd, which contains the pictures of the background, but I don't really get it, how to make them transparent? I tried to play with the alpha channel, but it wasn't a success. Any idea ? tl:dr: How can I have a transparent background ? ( esc menu ) Thank you very much. Asy. Menu returns unlimited depth to ENB's prior to 0.238 so a DOF shader (which it appears to be) will produce a unified blurry image and won't leave out the chat. If the whole image (+ the text) was blurred, I would believe it. The only possible option is a texture used as background, nothing else (except fake). It is DK's mod, it was meant to be part of his V HUD, that's his screenshot too, and as far as I know, he never released it separately. So there, that settles it.
