Tacymist
I looked but could only find options to ignore posts, sigs, and messages. I don't think it's possible to ignore avatars.

Sentrion
The new software doesn't support blocking avatars. There was a feature on old forum that allowed you to turn off the displaying of user avatars. However on Ignore Preferences, sigs, posts and messages are the only things you can block. Girish
I'm sure there must be an addon/extension for your browser that lets you block links/urls. Using that extension, you can simply block the image altogether. Edit: Okay, it seems you don't even need an addon to block images. Firefox - http://www.ghacks.net/2012/04/26/how-to-block-images-from-sites-in-firefox/ Chrome - Go to Settings > Show Advanced Settings > Under Privacy, select Content Settings > Under Images, select Manage Exceptions. Copy-paste the image url and choose to block. Edited April 16, 2014 by Girish ~Tiger~
Vanto
You can do this: 1. Install Adblock extension. 2. Enable Adblock. 3. Right-click on the image you want to block. 4. Click on Adblock > Block this ad > It looks good (or something similar to that) I just tried this and it works. or1
