Is the theme of The High Life and Business Update too alike?

Is the theme of The High Life and Business Update too alike?

It seems like they both encroach on the same things. Even the cars exude the same message: Rich, urban, high class, etc. It gets boring with so much emphasis on the urban aspect of the game. Do you think they should start focusing on the rural areas in the next update? Obviously, alot of people love the Sandy Shores area, what do they have to lose? It feels like the High Life and Business Update could've been one release.

Ya that's what we need....trailers instead of apartments, more rat loaders, sweatpants, plaid shirts, and chewing tobacco.

I agree, but hey, new free DLC so who's complaining?

This. You're not paying money for it, so what's the point of caring about the similarities?

more cars and more garage space

possibly new clothes

new game modes and creators

and possibly some new weapons

what's to complain about?

now if we had a whole DLC dedicated to something completely useless, like a pair'a pants, then there'd be something wrong

The Dangerous Business pack was great.

I agree with this sentence. I wouldn't have my baby without it.

OT: Yeah, some variety in DLC themes would be nice, but no matter what the content of the DLC is, there's going to be someone who complains.

That's exactly what i thought, personally i think these themes are too similar. Preferably i'd want a more casual theme or a South Los Santos pack featuring, hoodies, face bandanas, ski masks etc

By that logic if I offered you a sandwich smeared with my feces, you wouldn't be able to complain about it, because I'm not charging you for it.

But of course you would because who in their right mind would want a sandwich like that?

You have terrible taste and/or are a bad troll......I just love how people slip their chrome vehicles into threads and wonder why everyone hates chrome cars and talks smack...

They could have called the Business update the High Life Update, and this next one the second High Life Update, as both are identically indicative of luxury, and purchases.

Man, I just hope that there are other clothes besides suits. I'm so f*cking tired of suits! Please give us some "normal" stuff. I know this is a bit if a stretch but the new capture creator artwork show a male character with earrings, so hopefully it will be one of those "new wardrobe options"

Variety is certainly well and good but having variety just for the sake of variety is excessive, they just happened to have the Business update stuff ready when they did and now they have more stuff ready, who cares if it's similar if it's all good stuff? Besides that last DLC was hardly comprehensive with it's content, we still don't have plain black suits with matching pants after multiple updates with suits in them, suffice it to say they've left stuff out that we really should have, and hopefully this update will give us most of those things (I've got my fingers crossed for that black suit).

Sir Michael

Anything would be better than suits and "fancy" stuff. At least Beach Bum had the decency to give us that casual feeling. A Millennial, or even a Hipster Pack, would be pretty interesting though. :p

While I agree, having everyone running around as hipsters would turn me into a tank driver......or a better pilot ;)

The fact that they're obviously just adding more suits and such to the clothes selection is completely bogus. I don't mind the cars at all, but I was really looking forward to some more types of clothes.

Just mismatch items to get hipster look.

Like an awful sweater vest and purple tuke with unnecessarily large glasses with no actual lenses, also don't shower and wear toe socks and sandles.

I think we could use a red neck DLC, double barrel shotguns, monster trucks, overalls those dresses Trevor can wear in SP but for female characters.

Fail_At_GTA

I want DLC that isn't based upon luxury. I don't want more sports cars or super cars. I only drive my Entity unless it blows up, then I pull out my Turismo and if that blows up I call my Cheetah and if that blows up I call my Monroe and if that blows up I just play 2 games of RR and buy them all back. I honestly don't need more super/sports cars. Perhaps more offroad vehicles that are actually good at climbing hills, a new jet, clothes that aren't based on business, a heat seaking RPG, or anything that hasn't been in previous updates or the future High Life one.

High end things are more expensive than regular things...

For spending more cash, you need more cash. Either you need to play the game or you need to buy cash cards for that, both works for R*.

They can be thinking "Who need cheap things"... ;)

Seriously the free dlc is not free don't keep on say hey it's free don't complaint.

They just cut the entire game in pieces and let you download piece by piece. Basically you paid the original price for a unfinished game, and then download the crap-like unfinished part which is stated as a "free dlc".

Don't be a fool. You always paid for any free sh*t. Free is just a marketing terms.
