hvcciookay
You better grab E30 M3s while they are 15k-20k. I'd imagine that any M3 coupe / convertible will shoot through the roof now that present M3s are sedans. One sold for 19k last year here in st. Louis. First time i seen one in the flesh and it's truly a sight behold. Z8 have always been increasing as well. E30 M3's under $20k ended a long time ago. Unless it's a salvage title or a dog (200k+ miles), it's not happening. Average values are already around the $23-28k mark. $30k+ isn't unheard of at the moment. http://www.bogiesmotors.com/1991_BMW_M3_ST%20LOUIS_MO_192413810.veh Had 115k miles. I didn't see 8- Series mentioned at first. A local BMW Specialty dealer is selling the V12 model for 20k as well with 60k that i had my eye on as well as a V8 for 10k. Wouldn't doubt those not rising either. We have a ton of great deals on cars. Everything is dirt cheap!

sivispacem
I don't think most cars built nowadays will last long enough to become classics. I don't know about this. I think cars today are, on average, probably more resilient than those of the 90s when most of the technology we have in modern vehicles was common but still in its infancy. Plenty of 90s cars already reaching classic status. Have you seen what a 964 Carrera RS goes for? Clubsports are four hundred grand. Joe Biden
Later TVR's are gonna shoot up in value some day, most likely when they are old enough to be imported to the USA. TVR Sagaris, Cerbera and Tuscan will probably be the biggest winners.
Flachbau
I'm no longer a huge fan of the vehicle I'm about to mention, but I can't ignore the fact that the GT86 / BRZ will become a future classic for sure. The aftermarket support and community really help to boost the potential. I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned already in this thread. Outcast
How the bloody hell did I miss this thread?! BMW E46 M3 BMW E39 M5 BMW E63 M6 BMW E86 Z4M (Coupe) BMW E82 1M That's basically my BMW to-buy list. Flachbau
Garfield 2
The 1M is already over sticker. The M6 not yet, I'm not sure if it'll be more desirable than the E60 M5, but time will tell I suppose. E46 M3 - yes, these are as cheap as it gets now, so get em while there's still plenty. E39 M5 - already creeping up. In 2014 had to spend €12k for a good one, today it's €16-18k With some perspective, here's my updated list of "soon to be" classics: - E38 7 Series (don't think I'm biased, I thought that before I bought two of them) - Mercedes W202 C36/C43 AMG - Porsche Boxster S 986 Generation - Mitsubishi 3000GT - Nissan 300ZX
Outcast
1M - I know, I just wanted to include it because I have one hehe E63 M6 - I think it's definitely going to be more collectable than the E60 M5 because, first of all, they were produced in lower numbers, second, the driving experience was markedly improved on the E63 M6 due to the shorter wheelbase.
