Remember in all the war movies there's some brash fresh recruit who never listens to his lieutenant and makes all the rookie mistakes and generally puts his entire platoon in danger?

 

Well that's about 95% of GTA randoms I've ever done missions with. All I think is, "Good God, I'd hate to end up with you in WW3."

Odd, I remember playing Counter-Strike:Condition Zero's Tours of Duty & that the "Maverick" bot, far from being a nuisance, was a one bot f*cking army.

 

That said, if that's what the newbies are called, who would the "Blackburn's"(another name i hear in war flicks a lot) be?

Y'all take missions too seriously. How many have you done perfectly? Wow how bout spice it up with having to teach someone the mission, or trying someone else's tactics. Sure idiots might get themselves killed but if you can solo it anyway who gives a f*ck. Blowing up the objective happens to the best of us.

 

Quick story time, last night me and some random got into a fight over the radio station on the way to the GPS vehicle in ls connection. So I kicked him out of my car half way there and flipped on mirror park like I wanted. No mics on to explain it but it was pretty damn funny. long story short that little back and forth got me a new buddy to crank out missions with.

I don't think I take the game very seriously, I just marvel at the lack of teamwork.

 

Everyone races to the objective, starts a fight as soon as they arrive, and then each player dies one by one as they arrive at a wall of bullets.

I agree in the fact that I hope I never get called up and serve with some/most GTAO players... methinks real world conflict would push them into shape... you'd hope so at least, haha.
