well im sure SOME of you may have heard about the famous Audi vs BMW billboard war in real life. I saw this while driving thru Los Santos and said to myself.. wow lol how ironic..

 

 

These are the original ads placed by audi and bmw.

 

this was audi's first billboard.

and then audi put up another one directly challenging BMW

and then i saw this while cruising thru a gas station in downtown..

this may be a pointless thread but i honestly thought it was cool that rockstar continued the famous audi vs bmw war in gta5

It's just a billboard in the game, it has basically nothing to do with the pictures you posted...and no, BMW vs. Audi is a feud? They're both overpriced Cars for people who think they are hot sh*t because they drive an Audi or a BMW

That's the point...you have a good enough financial position that you can buy these cars that others can't, regardless of price.

f*cking status symbols...

 

You're buying the name more than the car...

I know one of the Housers once said they don't watch popular TV shows because they don't want to subconsciously copy their themes, but it's funny how they do take things directly from real life. Not saying this particular advert is a good example of that, but it's just great how they can recreate real life in a new universe.

looks at the real billboards and look at the one in the game.. do you not see the reference "disobey" with a picture of gta's "bmw" and obey being gta's "audi"... im confused here.. not sure if cereal...
