Deadly Aviator
Is this the last class of vehicle to get an appreciation thread? Commercial and Service Vehicles are some of the coolest vehicles in GTA Online, with features that no Personal Vehicles have. Some can carry entire sessions of players in them or store smaller vehicles inside them, others can Squash Cars like bugs. Some can smash through police roadblocks with impunity, dump their cargo to block off bounty hunters, pick up and and crush traffic, or survive more than 10 sticky bombs and keep rolling on. And of course, in real life they are a cornerstone of the modern world; they are blood cells that keep the heart of the world pumping, delivering food, assistance, medical care, housing, transport, friendship, justice and even laughter wherever they are told go. no wonder nations have annual celebrations just for them! Post your photos and experiences with commercial and service vehicles, they don't have to be at all sensible; this is not a role-playing thread! Note: I am including vehicles in this category that are not under the 'Commercial' or 'Service' categories as defined by rockstar, but would be considered Commercial or Service vehicles In real Life. So things like the Docktug (utility), barracks (military), taco van (vans), HVY Dump (Industrial), or Prison Bus (Emergency), for example, are fine to post about! Here's some photos of mine to start things off: My Roosevelt on top of a Phantom's Flatbed Trailer, I wish you could tie vehicles down so they wouldn't roll off (that way you could move around slow vehicles, or boats a lot faster)! Conquering mount Gordo in the HVY Barracks Semi! My Vapid Speedo alongside my favourite truck in the game, the MTL Pounder, and a Jobuilt Rubble (I want this place as my Garage!) My Vapid Sadler and the MTL Packer with a Timber Trailer The 2nd and 3rd Strongest Vehicles in the game: Police Riot and Brute Stockade! A Sunny day at the docks (note this was taken in SP but I'm sure some people could get this trailer online too) As for my experiences with other people online, I've blown up and killed someone with a bounty by hitting their car with a Phantom I was using as a wrecking ball on the cargobob. When Being chased by other people when I have a bounty, I sometimes like to get a Truck-Trailer, then detach the trailer so it blocks off the road and I can escape, smashing people's puny 'super' cars whilst they try in vain to shoot you up in the cab is also always fun! dewtech
I wish there was a way of saving trucks with trailers, would be great to cruise round trucking. Crew usually goes mad as in any mission we have to use an Artic I always blindside reverse it into the checkpoint  These flats are my favorite, wish we could anchor vehicles as you said. Although I really want to get one of those olive tankers out of the base with a unit. Deadly Aviator and Dumb guy

Deadly Aviator
Although I really want to get one of those olive tankers out of the base with a unit. You can get the Barracks semi with a trailer by dying in the military base, usually when you respawn outside they will sometimes be spawning on the highway for a minute or so. Alternatively now we have blind eye, you can use a cargobob to lift a truck and trailer out (individually of course). gtuned
I'd really, really, reeaaaaaaallllllly love to be able to customize and keep 18 wheelers. I mean, they each have variations between them, and why not be able to throw some custom rims on them? Not to mention the Sandking's wheels are bigger than most 18 wheelers, yet we can throw on High End and Sport wheels that look stupid that big. And a purchaseable Brute Stockade would be great fun too. just take the Guppe 6 logos off, have a primary/secondary color option, and crew logos that get placed on both sides and the hood, as well as rim options/upgrades. Come on R*, you can do it. If we can endlessly kill players with a Tank, why can't we have some fun with bigger vehicles. I'd buy a $100 cash card if they allowed us to Buy/Keep/Customize these like a normal car. I agree, what's sort of ironic is that the percentage of trucks in real life that are customised is very high, but very few people in real life who own cars have had any customisation on them, and there is a lot of accommodation for truck customisation in the real world, but not in this game =/. LightningLord
I'd love to see a regular version of an armored truck. Fully customizable. Hey quick question. Can you drive the Brute Stockade in GTA Online? I've tried to steal it and it won't let me drive it. Teiraafying
I was way too excited when they showed 18 wheelers in the trailer for the game. I love driving them around the countryside and would love if you could customize them to put bulletproof tires and armor on them. They're fun to drive, but the speed makes you a sitting duck on anyone who wants to be a twat. Having the ability to drop the back door open and have a car or bike roll up into the trailer would be sweet. I'd really enjoy having legitimate tow trucks in Online too. Deadly Aviator
I wonder if the Stockade (Securicar in previous games) could fit in your garage, if it could, R* should make it customizable and storable It does, as do most of the other medium sized trucks (e.g Biff, Benson, Tipper etc.) , I've compared the size of them with a Sandking and they would definitely fit in, some of the larger trucks would also fit in, like the Flatbed and Barracks, the only ones which wouldn't fit in the current garages are the Semi Trucks (too tall) and the Pounder (too long) We need a warehouse garage where you can store one or two trucks with trailers. f*cking A if this gets done I agree, There are actually quite a few garages in industrial areas with semi trailers around, they could easily be made into big garages for current pegasus vehicles and large trucks. ExtremeTorque
They would be more popular if they were storable and customisable in LSC. I would love to have a big ass truck with a sick livery merking supercars.
djdest
I would LOVE to have my own custom truck, I wish there were missions or jobs driving round delivering goods. AndyC-M
is anyone able to keep these vehicles? i want a truck, or even just the tractor unit, not so much the trailer working in the logistics industry, i have an appreciation for commercial vehicles :-)
Vapid Sadler
Vapid Sadler. Soooo many people say it's slow and the Sandking is better but the Sandking is some wannabe truck that took steroids. The Sadler is built for hauling construction equipment and pipes and such. I always get in the Sadler, have my friends throw their cycles and bikes in the bed, then go on a "road trip"... which usually ends up falling off Mount Chilliad. So, yeah the Sadler's the best. I'd get rid of my whole garage if I had to in order to keep it. BTW, made a race for the Sadler called "Mount your saddles". Details were in, checkpoints set, and guess what, the Sadler isn't an option. Waste of my time. Razar
Deadly Aviator
Well with another garage I now have these vehicles: Declasse Burrito, Bravado Rumpo (Weazel News Van), Vapid Speedo, Vapid Sadler, Vapid Bobcat XL (w/bedcap) Gonna replace the Rumpo with a white one whenever I manage to find one. You can't insure the Burrito, and you can't put performance mods on the Speedo or Rumpo either. -.- Maybe I'll also get a Duneloader but not being able to repair the rust sucks. There are certain spots all over LS that have usable trailers. Pick one up, then drive cross map, swap trailers. If you have a truck and trailer hooked up as you approach at certain truck stops, a trailer appears. Pity we dont get RP or $ for it but. R* should be able to do it, surely.Outside, opposite side of the road at the sandy shore airfield usually has trailers. You need to be within feet of the area for a trailer to spawn sometimes. The most reliable place to find Trailers (and Tractors) is by Beekers garage, if you drive around that area for a while there will be different trailers that can spawn at the gas station, or some trucks can spawn coming in or out of the cluckin bell factory. After you drive around in a tractor-trailer for a while like you say there will be various trailer spawns around the map, more reliably in invite only sessions. Beekers garage would be the perfect place to do truck modifications, I always wondered why it has a different name, it's like R* planned something different for it, at least in SP you can grab the small tow truck from outside and modify that =p.
