(Not the Injection, the buggy)

 

I just modded one in SP and it is INCREDIBLE. Can you do performance upgrades to it online too?

Last time I tried this I'm pretty sure it wouldn't even let me in LSC.

It's unmodifiable unless you use a save editor :(

Probably because it would be too OP in offroad races when upgraded.

In the save editor- paint, rims, upgrades, whether or not you want panels, horn, lights, tire smoke. Legit- nothing

It's been a while since I tried but as far as I know, you can't really do anything except put explosives on it. A friend of mine claims he tried it recently and there are still no upgrades available.

You don't have to use an editor, just customize one in Sp and bring it into MP.

Since 1.12 you can indeed modify it, no idea to what extend

In SP you can do:

Armor

Brakes

Engine

Horn

Lights

Respray (just primary)

Suspension

Transmission

Turbo

Wheels (only smoke and bulletproof tires)

And for some reason window tints are there, even though there are no windows.

 

Could someone who owns a Buggy online just check real quick for me? If you have a spare minute...

Already had a modded one but I've been hearing you can customize it more since the latest update. Guess they might no longer be "rare"

Dune buggy is modable to the same extent that the Injection is.

That really really sucks, this thing is so much fun. I really don't wanna use an editor though :(

You don't have to use an editor, just customize one in Sp and bring it into MP.

 

You couldn't do this before the patch unless you save edited.

Well, I imported the paneless one with a cloth roof from offline before the latest patch hit, but I think they may spawn somewhere online as well.

You can order the one with panels

The paneless one without a cloth roof has apparently been lost into oblivion.

Every time I've bought it I've got a panel one, if you want a panelless one, but a panel one and drive it to the various spawn points until a panelless one spawns

So its confirmed that the paneless one spawns online? That are great news... i sp2mped one 2 days before 1.12 just to notice that my 2nd char couldnt upgrade anything cause hes Rank 1 xD

 

Looking for a "legit" one for my mainchar now :)

Yup :) You need to be driving it already though for any of it's variants to spawn.

I found it at that little circular dirt path by the Sandy Shores airfield, just south of where the planes/choppers spawn. It took a few trips back and forth to get it to spawn though.

 

I think there are a few other spawns around the map, but that's the only one I 100% know about.
