I Don't Understand People

I don't understand why people always complain about Tanks when it's their fault that it attacked them.

Yesterday I had to kill a level 6 player (I was level 90) non-stop because he kept trying to steal my tank, and ended up doing the same to other people because they tried destroying my tank, although not as much as that level 6 guy, I think his name was Tri Nuba. Later a guy threw a sticky bomb on my tank and blew it up, hid in Eclipse Towers and left.

You guys do all of this to someone friendly just because they're riding a tank, then complain when they kill you? Something is wrong here

When someone tries to steal your tank or harass you because you are in a tank, just drive away. It's not that hard. Don't come here to the forum to cry to us.

When someone tries to steal your tank or harass you because you are in a tank, just drive away. It's not that hard. Don't come here to the forum to cry to us.

Welcome to GTAO where being killed is normal and helping random players is a completely new experience. Nobody is friends everybody is a victim of mass destruction.

 

In other news private and friend sessions are always a good way to not get any unwanted attention.

 

In all seriousness if I see a tank I do one of two things.

1. Leave the area and proceed with my own business.

2. Use necessary force to take that tank out.

Either you are lucky, or I'm unlucky. I'd say 7 times out 10 I see a tank I get killed for no reason. Without me or the guy having any kind of history.

 

 

Establish whoe the tank is and avoid that player.

Well, my first thought if driving through my local neighborhood and saw a tank, would not be to assume a friendly welcome. Also, this person clearly has psychological issues. GTFO fast.

You've obviously never met me in a tank, unless you had a decent bounty on you. I hardly get the tank out now seeing as the RP from 5 star tank rampages against the cops are of no use to me anymore.

 

Sad thing is, most tank owners are either squeakers, Scubadave or idiots who want to make GTA into Call of Doody thus creating a negative impression about anyone in a tank.

now i feel guilty because the other day i was driving my sabre heading to store that its close to the theater where the tank spawn, so im refilling my egochasers and stuff, calmly walk out, get on my car and BOOM i got blown out by a friendly tanker that was off radar...

 

i feel super guilty that he felt threaten by the egochaser i had in my hand, so he blew my in self defense.

I can't say this happens to me all the time, because some tank users that I meet are just complete douchebags online and will fire on sight.

However, probably half the time they do in fact leave me alone. Of course, I know they would kill me had I been stupid enough to harass them. But that is understandable.

If you mess with a neutral or friendly tank, and then complain about tanks, you're an idiot, period.

 

I personally think tanks are overpowered and BS, but this issue has more to do with the stupid ass 'shoot everything that moves' mentality of the average GTA player.

@saintsrow, except the area I was in was by the stunt jump by the main LSC, so it provided cover from helicopters and the police could only get in one way, I didn't want to give it up because of some idiots. You mess with me, you suffer the conséquences. I did nothing to them, the level 6 guy must've been new, those other guys who were either trying to blow up the tank or also steal it were those idiots you normally see in free roam

I'm just tired of why people would do this when you're in your tank, yet would probably complain afterwards about you killing them

I've never seen anyone use a tank for anything other than spawn killing defenseless people who did nothing to them. Anyone who drives a tank and complains that people don't like them is an idiot.
