is the rat loader the only car you can customize for free?

I'm sure it's the only one I've seen I can change it as many times without denting my wallet which is good as I can use

it in races as it's very fast considering the look of the vehicle.

A few months ago it was a rare niche vehicle that a lot of people spent quite a bit of money on customizing. One of the vehicles that I guess you could say had a 'fanbase'. With one of the patches (can't remember which) they decided to incorrectly blacklist it as a "utility vehicle" (it's a muscle 'car') and remove it from garages (meaning everyone lost all the money they invested in it, possibly even legitimate cash card buyers), and everyone got pissed on a nuclear level. People expressed their pissed-offedness to Rockstar, and a few patches later they decided to add it back in. Their way of compensating for money lost was to make the vehicle and all upgrades free. The free upgrades are awesome but I personally wouldn't mind still having to look for it. Being freely available on the website kind of defeats the whole 'rare restoration project' aspect part of it, but I have it back and that's all that matters.

Yeah that sucks. People always moan at me when I say that, but its true. The fact that you actually had to seek out the car for yourself and it only had like 2 possible (fairly rare) spawn points on the map made it a really special vehicle to own, with it's looks adding to that.

Now I just own it purely for it's looks, which I don't mind, I'm still going to keep it, its just lost a bit of it's "wow" factor.
