Everytime I'm in a vehicle, (plane or car) and I need to brake and turn abruptly, my character sometimes just jumps out of the vehicle, without me pressing triangle whatsoever.

Anybody knows what causes this? Pretty annoying when you just stole a jet and suddenly just bail out while making a sharp turn...

Tabula Rasa

You might want to get that checked out, sounds terminal.

Because the PS3 controller is designed for little kids' hands.

Definitely your controller. I had the same problem with my last controller, except the triangle (sometimes square) was triggered by pushing down hard on l3. I put up with it for ages when playing red dead redemption, but throwing myself out of fast moving cars on gta was the last straw.

I used to have a similar problem for Skate 3 where if you push up or down using the right thumbstick, you do a nose manual or just a manual. My controller would make it that I would randomly do a manual which was annoying if you're heading for a ramp and you just start doing a manual and it ruins your speed or screws up a combo, stuff like that. My solution was a new controller. You can find cheap but great 3rd party controllers. I'm on the Xbox 360 so I don't know the price for the PS3 controller but a 360 controller is like $60. I got a 3rd party controller for $30. It lights up in the dark and has a see-thru case, too! It's also wired so that's great. I suggest looking around for cheap controllers and see if it's your controller as there's no "button combo" to do any actions in GTA.

I think I can help you, I had the same problem with the X button and I fixed it, no need to get a new controller.

I can't tell you the step by step procedure, but every time you move or press L3, it detects a random button. Search a diasembly guide on the Ps3 controller and you may see a small flex cable on the PCB right below L3, that's the problem, you need to put a small pice of black tape above the flex (You'll notice a sponge like tape which keeps the flex in place)

I will addd a link later since I am on my phone.

Yeah, it's definitely the controller. I had that problem up until about 10 minutes ago. Clicking the L3 button would push some or all of my D-pad buttons and/or my L1 button.

To save you the effort, here's the video that I used to fix my controller. From the sounds of it, it's probably the same one you were thinking.
