WhatTheTheftV
When I tried to open GTA: SA it said: The instruction at 0x006a0050 referenced memory at 0x006a0050. The memory could not be written. Help?
lil weasel
Are you the Administrator? We need more information beyond the symptom. The Windows 8 (in my opinion) is designed to be for touch screens, and has been cobbled to work with Keyboard and mouse. I believe it is to kill the older games like Windows 7 killed DOS. Anyway. Let us start with have you purchased the DVD (v2) or the Legit Download (v3)? Did anyone try to install Mods to the game? Are you installing to C:/ (default) drive. Does your machine have the guts to run the game: Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (or better) 384(+) MB of RAM 16x DVD-ROM drive 4.7 GB of free Hard Disk space for a full install 128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better) DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card Game pad** with twin axis analog controls (USB or Joystick Port) Keyboard & Mouse ** I suggest 12 buttons minimum. I use the Logitech Dual Action ™, as it works straight from the box without any special drivers. Seitek also nice. Attempting to use console controllers may take hours to find the right driver(s) and then still not work. Get by with Minimum System Requirements • 1GHz Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon Processor • 256MB of RAM • 8x DVD-ROM Drive • 3.6 GB of free Hard Disk space for a minimal install • DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card • 64MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce3" or better) • DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card and a Keyboard & Mouse Edited April 13, 2014 by lil weasel
Apac
Dear lil weasel,it`s not the problem of windows 8.1,since I play GTA SA perfectly on it.It may be the problem of his PC or driver or he may have some mods on it,be sure of that What the theft V,you could do some things dude.Try reinstalling your SA and your DirectX(9).That may make your SA just like before
