I wish we could all act like Gat out of Hell never happened, it's the only title I hated of the series and I've only touched it twice once on 360 and once on the One. As for SR5, I don't exactly know if it's coming. There's alot of people that have their hopes up and a lot of people saying it's not gonna happen. Original Light Posted April 20, 2016 Share Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) I really hope the next game is somewhere in between Saints Row II and Saints Row III in terms of gameplay. Saints Row IV was decent in my opinion (I thought it was refreshing). Especially the soundtrack, I loved the Mix 107.77, but the recycled city was a bit lazy on their part - especially due to the fact that they still priced it as a full game (I can't remember exactly, maybe someone can confirm this). Gat Out of Hell I never played, nor do I really plan to, mainly because it doesn't have radio stations or any vehicles. Though I understand that it was intended as more of an add-on. At the end of the day, I play Saints Row to get my Grand Theft Auto clone fix, therefore I expect the bread and butter basics; the cars and the music. Gat Out of Hell was primarily developed by High Voltage Software with Volition's supervision. I hope they've been making this since SRIV so we get a fully complete game. I'm kinda glad Jaros is gone because he said SRTT had "too much content" and cut a lot of it out. You heard that right, which doesn't make any sense. And he still wanted to cut more out of the game, I don't get it. With him gone maybe we can get a game that has the same amount content as SR2. I think Saints Row 2 while it was a good game was where all the crazyness started and they decided to expand on that with 3. Someone suggested that it'll likely be Metro, but I doubt it. Volition has been working on something for a while (as mentioned above, GOOH was developed by High Voltage). Plus, Deep Silver spent over $20 mil to acquire Saints Row as their flagship franchise after THQ died. To me it seems very likely that it's going to be Saints Row 5 because the time is right to release a new game. What do you guys think it will be? Every time I see this discussion on top of the gaming forum, i believe there are actual infos XD Jokes aside, I think SR 2 strenght lied in the balance between crazyness and over the top on one side, and a "believable" environment. And let's not forget the freedom the game gave to the player. If they can hit this balance again, they'll have a sure winner. Tbh, I think it's cool to see some kind of progression and break away from gangster theme and be a president. I think its the best saint row because not only did it have simply fun gameplay but it was also realistic and believable. Saint row 2 was eh, i feel like the graphics were somehow downgraded lol but it was a fun game as well.
