RyanBurnsRed
We're already tackling the devil in gat out of hell, who will you fight against when you're God? As much as I love the whacky Saints Row I don't think they'll take the crazy route for the next game. There's is a limit to how bonkers they can make the game without making it boring or repetitive in concept. Gat out of hell shows that a tiny bit. I said as a god meaning have god like powers, whatever those would be. I sorta feel like SR4 is a prelude to that. And I think if they pulled a GTA IV on the series (make it more down to Earth), they would get a crazy amount of backlash from fans. Saints Row went from a typical open-world sandbox to something unique. I like the craziness of the games, but I'm also worried how far they can take it and keep it up. In my opinion, it'd be better to end the series soon and work on some sort of spiritual successor. I'd hate to see them drag it out because then it does get tiresome. But those are just my thoughts and feelings on it. Mister Pink and BLOOD
Shadowfennekin
That made me more excited for Gat out of Hell. I really can't wait to see what Saints Row 5 will be like. I just hope we can be our own character again, that's what made me fall in love with the series. Being your own character, making your own choices, etc.

I hope they don't forget the most important part of the Saints Row games, the characters. At least for me they make the game. Who knows, maybe the next Saints row might go back to the roots, not enough games who fill that niche left around anymore. A Spiritual successor sounds even better as long as they can do it right. Homemade Dynamite
I decided to resurrect this topic from the grave, as I think Saints Row 5 could come out for real next year. It seems like it would be the right time. With that said, if it's a reboot, what would you like to see out of SR5? Steve Jaros, the creative director behind the series, has left the company, which means SR5 could have a radical change from previous games. yungsmokex
A better graphics engine and a way better city. Something reminiscent of stilwater. That city was small byou today's standards but it was dense with content, random happenings, and secret areas. If they give whatever new locations they use, the same attention to detail as Sr2 stilwater, they can keep the crazy script. And saints row has always been the kings of customization and should work on having different types of modern day clothing as well as crazy costumes. Yeah , saint row 2 was crazy customisable lol thats the last sr i played before it got too outlandish but SR1 is highly underrated, thats my favorite sr of the whole series
josephene123
It seemed to me that quite a large portion of Saints Row fans were turned off by 3 and 4, I'm not sure why they carried on in that kind of direction. I didn't even complete 3.
ClaudeSpeed1911
-A Saints Row game with balance between humor and seriousnes -Better activities like in Saints Row 2 -Expand the customization system from Saints Row 2. -Better secrets and secret areas -Unique interiors for the storeS (The ones in SR2 was a bit generic but atleast were a bit different unlike SR3 and 4) -Better gun combat and vehicle mechanics (No infinite gears and slow vehicles, make it more like Sleeping Dogs since it fits SR better than GTA style mechanics) -Better clothes and more variations. -Bring back the seprate gang storylines and make each gang more unique. -Bring back randomized peds like in SR2 -Give us a choice about playing activities and don't include them in the story as "missions". That's all I need, an expanded SR2 with better mechanics. Target13, 65536 and Ivan1997GTA
hasidichomeboy
The demolition derby activity should return. ClaudeSpeed1911 and Ivan1997GTA
Ivan1997GTA
I would appreciate the return of ambulance, ho-ing, taxi & firetruck jobs, alongside FUZZ, crowd control, racing, fight club (non-superpowered) & demolition derby activities. Also, make the character customization more diverse, like being able to change your height, and make the clothing system similar to SR2, where you could wear a shirt, t-shirt, overshirt & a coat at the same time and add whatever you want on the сlothing, including custom logos, JPEGS, etc.. And if we're talking about radio stations, I'd like to see Ezzzy 105.0/The World 105.0, Funk 98.4, 106.66 the Blood/Krunch, 108.0 WMD KBOOM FM, and WDDTCPDG the Swim make a return, and as for new radio stations, I'd like to see an Eastern European station, a synthwave station, a pop station & an ambient station. And give us the ability to downgrade weapons and make dual-wielding optional, like in Saints Row 2, for crying out loud! Although, it's really up to Volition if they're making a new Saints Row game. Homemade Dynamite
Wishlist for 5: - I'm on the fence as to whether or not superpowers should be included. While they completely take the game off the rails, they were also a hell of a lot of fun to use. I had a much better time running, jumping, and gliding around the city than I did driving a car. The cars themselves don't feel right, the sense of speed is off and the turning kind of sucks. If superpowers aren't in the game, please tune the driving so it's more fun. - Add more detail to the city. Stilwater in Saints Row 2 felt like a living, breathing city that was full of life and detail. You could tell Volition worked their asses off putting in every little detail they could, and that work paid off. In SRTT, the game felt lifeless. All streets looked exactly the same, the peds were the same set of people, with only the zombie district being any different. SRIV was the same, but it was a simulation, so it was a little more justified. - More music. It seems the number of songs gets smaller and smaller with each game, culminating with SRIV having the smallest soundtrack in the series. More stations, more songs on those stations please. Bring back metal, it sucked that it wasn't in IV and the only metal song was placed on GenX where it felt out of place. Maybe put a pop station too if they can afford it. Why not bring back talk radio from SR1 as well? - The ability to downgrade our abilities, weapons, and make dual-wielding an option like SR2. - More customization. SR is all about customization, but SRTT stripped down and streamlined it to the bare essentials. In SR2, you have your jacket buttoned or unbuttoned, and you could have it tucked in. You could also place logos on your shirt too. - Good characters. The characters in SRTT felt terrible, and Kinzie was incredibly overrated. If the cast is entirely new, please make them good. - More activities. SR2 had the best activities, but SRTT cut almost all of them replaced them with the most generic activities imaginable. SRIV was better, but they were power-centric which may not return in 5. - Multiplayer! At least put in a bonafide free mode where all the craziness is happening with 16+ people. Co-op is only good for so long. Edited November 9, 2015 by NightSpectre Ivan1997GTA and ClaudeSpeed1911

Homemade Dynamite
Is there any confirmation of the game being in development? I want a completely new city and bigger map for SR5. No confirmation yet, just speculation. SRIV will be three years old in 2016, seems like the right time for a new game. Plus, Volition has been awfully quiet lately. slimeball supreme
^ That. SR3 was trash. The only redeeming factor in a lot of cases was the wrestling mission and Yonkers - and don't get me started on 4. We need something either on the same path as SR2, a reboot/retcon in a universe where 3 didn't happen, or we just remake SR2 and start from scratch. Osho
SR3 was trash. What's so trash about that game? Its a fun title. SR2 reboot / remaster voices have been raised soo many times but it seems the developers have really shown no interest through any official response or interviews. All SR2 needs is just a better polish and tweaks to the overall gameplay like how the Gentlemen of the Row did. The mod really makes thegame fun and challenging to play. A reboot taking place after the event's after SAINT'S ROW 2 would be awesome! Hopefully we would get all the customization of SAINTS ROW 2, and a story that is focused on finding and killing Dex. (Hopefully it would be better than that f*ckING BULLsh*t in SR:GOoH) Also, has anyone else noticed that the original SAINT'S ROW DLC has been added back to the XBOX live marketplace recentley? Carbonox
And bring Troy back. He disappeared off the face of the earth after SR2. And Dex. It was a massive letdown that he was basically left out of SR3 because the devs thought the new fans wouldn't know him... and then killed off unremarkably in some side story. The visuals were outdated as hell and the PC version blew ass but the game was still good-ish. One thing I'd like is side missions that aren't repetitive and more rewarding. V did such a great job with its strangers and freaks side missions, they were far more compelling than the ones in SR3. Ivan1997GTA
