Skipping Tutorial?

When do you get the option to skip the tutorial? I already have a level 32 character but I don't get any option to skip it. I still have to do the race, steal the drugs, etc.

 

 

EDIT: I mean when I create a new character, I still have to watch the intro cinematic and do the race.

I meant when creating a new character. In patch 1.11 I think, Rockstar said when you create a new character you can skip the tutorial.

 

I think I have may just figured it out. I don't think they meant skip the intro, I think they meant skip the required deathmatch that you had to do as I just got the my car that Simeon upgrades for free and I don't have to do that mission.

My first character was level 70-something (forget exactly what) when I created my second - let me skip the tutorial. Maybe there's a certain rank you need to be before it unlocks as an option (presumably because lower-rank characters might not have seen all the intro cutscenes and the like first time round, all of which get skipped if you skip the tutorial).

On that note, if you want to see the cutscenes like meeting Trevor or Lester for your second character, DON'T skip the tutorial, as it also skips those. Worth keeping in mind - particularly if you're doing a different gender for your new character, and want to see all the different cinematic content (Lamar's intro for a female character is typical-Lamar hilarity).

I sure hope not. This is what it says on the official patch notes: If a player has already ranked up a character to Rank 20 they will be given the option to skip the tutorial.

 

There's no way I'll be able to level up to 50 anytime soon.

Man, I really wish I was a high level. I have no friends that play and my NAT type is strict so it makes it difficult to play with anyone. I don't really feel like grinding one person missions all day.

 

Also, let me ask you guys something. Does it ask you when you create the character if you wanna skip the tutorial or something?

I would either remove system cache (game updates) and redownload the update or just do the tutorial.
Not much that can be done, to be honest.

I've already tried this, unfortunately it didn't work. I also made a support ticket on Rockstar's website.

Ah, right, well the support is your last option...or, you know, just do the tutorial.

As tedious it may be, it's the simple solution right now.

I didn't even finish the whole tutorial. I only got up to stealing from a shop, then getting my own car, then I quit the session and the tutorial was complete.

when you create a character it gives you a prompt when the video would normally start to skip. you spawn on the street at level 1. you also skip the kiflom crap after your first death.

Yeah, then it definitely isn't working for me.

 

Is there a possibility that my account may be flagged or something? I'll admit that I had hacked money (given to me) and I used the glitch to get the tank and buzzard, plus the hovering RP glitch. One other problem I have is I can't buy anything from the internet. It just says I don't have enough money when I clearly do.

I made a new character and could skip the tutorial, got them a 10 car garage and filled it with fully modded Schwartzers as my rainy day fund
