Uh, what? You can't put pearlescent on when using Matte. Only Metallic.

Try entering the metallic paint menu, then backing out and change the plate, then back into respray and it will let you into pearlescents.

Yes you can, it's easy.

 

Spray your car matte, then go to respray it metallic, but don't actually select a color.

 

Back out, change the plate or something, and go back in to repsray, and choose pearlescent, and it will work on matte paintjobs.
