Cops Blind Eye not working?

Apparently, a new feature was added in 1.12 that would allow you to call Lester to get the cops off of you for 3 minutes. So that means you can do anything you want for 3 minutes without getting a wanted level. I used this feature to fight gang members because I was bored. I ran over a couple of members and I got 1 star. Later, I used Blind Eye again and I was shooting gang members and I still got a wanted level. Anyone else facing the same thing?

Nvm, I missunderstood but the blind eye feature is not even that beneficial anyway. 3 mins is not enough time regarding how ridiculous the price is!

I haven't tried that new ability but wating 10000 on something that doesn't work means it's not worth trying it anymore.

i don't use blind eye (it's way too expensive, i'm not paying $5,000 to get cops to ignore my misdeeds for 3 minutes).

I like the new magic eye feature the cops have and its free. Thats where everytime the cops kill me I respawn and get a wanted level right away just for moving.

I was under the impression that ANY AND ALL crime would be ignored, but sadly, I was mistaken. The first time I realized that was when I went into the Military base to steal a jet (and NO, I'm not a noob, I still prefer it the normal way, I was just curious lol). Well, I approached the jet and nobody shot me or anything. I accidentally BUMPED into one of the military dudes, and I was instantly shot. I thought this might have been a bug or something, so I tried it again later, still the same result. I also had it on one day and shot up the police station and they started shooting at me.

 

TL;DR - Blind eye is basically pointless, to expensive, and only useful when robbing armored trucks.

My understanding is that it works 100% until you are aggressive towards the police. Then the timer expires immediately.

Yep, it's pretty much a f*cking ripoff.

I'm hoping this is just a bug, that way Blind Eye won't be pointless.

oh but they dont care at all about the guy having a rampage in a tank. his blind eye lasts the full time. your on foot trying to defend yourself you get a wanted star.

Used it earlier, and it works fine for me.

Hit armored trucks for 3 minutes straight.. Twice.

Even robbed stores in-between time.

 

3 mins is not enough time regarding how ridiculous the price is!

When you use it right, it pays for itself.

I used it because using it once wouldn't hurt my wallet but I had about a minute left and I was in fort zancudo. Saw a tank driving aroudn so I shot it up with the lazer cannons and when it exploded I got an instant 4 stars. Pretty funny but I don't think I have the pockets to fully find out all of the ins and outs of this perk.

This "Blind Eye" feature, Troll Heaven or Player Hell?

My god this "blind eye" feature has turn online into hell, you can't drive 5 feet without some d!ck in a p-996 lazer blow up the entire city block, i mean come on guys, it used to take some real skill to get a jet not just every little unskilled kiddy troll could grab one and ruin the lobby for everyone else, then i figure oh well i switch sessions, well that doesn't fix a dammed thing, instead of one jackoff there is 2 or 10, please r* please remove this feature or at least limit it so that it does not work at army bases.

 

I understand this feature is going to be of a great use during the heists but right now it is just for trolling, what i think should be done is that it should not be removed but it should not make the army turn a "blind eye", what do y'all think?

common sense would dictate that this is a video game and therefore realism isn't 100% ideal

I phoned lester to get the cops to turn a blind eye. Then I phoned the cops to come to me. I blew them up when they came and instantly got 3 stars. I just thought I didn't work on cops?
