The actual engines in these cars!?

Hi guys,

 

bit of a petrol head, had a thought - what engines do these cars actually have?

 

I've thought about using the sound and the look but there's so many clashes with engine sounds, what the car should be and whats actually in the engine bay.

 

For instance the Zion Cabrio - based off the BMW 6 series.

 

Is that a honda B series 4pot in there?!

 

Surely it should have some form of V8 powerplant or at least a V6 Twin turbo?!

 

next was the is200/is300/evo mismatch, aka the sultan

Okay a simple straight six, fits with the IS200/300. can't see a turbo in there must be tucked away

 

kind of works as a 2jz, with some elements of an RB in there was my guess?

 

Then there's the Blista

 

J series?

 

 

The last one is the jester, the "V6 hybrid" as described on legendary motorsport, and the car that sounds eerily like the v8 Corvette Corquette.

 

call me insane but i swear I count 8

 

 

 

 

 

I'm also a petrol head. I thought I was the only one that was confused with the Jester's engine. And what's with the Blista's engine?...

I owned a 9F Cabrio and realized there isn't even an engine in that car. Unless it's under the roof compartment, I have no idea where it's supposed to be. ;o

It's rear engined

 

I know it's rear-engined because the hard-top 9f has its engine in the rear, and the front is the "trunk" of the car. I don't think it's possible to see the Cabrio's engine

God, the engine models for most of the cars are so ugly looking.

Well, you really don't see the engine on 97.7% of the cars in the game, so low rez textures help save memory.

But I will say that the Stinger GT's engine is nicely designed.

Why do people put "r"s in Coquette and Elegy? I constantly see people saying, "I like the Corquette and Elergy." Why? Coquette and Elegy are uncommon words, I know, but I don't see where people got the "r" from.

I saw someone called the Entity "Entity XS" and the Sentinel "Sentinel XF", man, i didn't know if laugh or cry.

I guess so, on cars where you see the engine like the Jester, it looks nice.

When I noticed the b series in the Zion I was literally laughing about it. But the stinger gt has one of the best looking engines. I didn't tint it at all for that reason. The velocity stacks are a nice touch.

Pretty sure the Vigero says V10 on the car but has a V8. I always thought it was weird they chose V10 since muscle cars are all about the V8s.
