Anyone that uses a tank is just bad. Destroy the tank and spawn kill them. If they are like that WonderingPsycho noob then just leave. You can't fight 3 tank circle jerkers unless you have friends with you.

 

make them angry by going passive and going to a location where they can see you, but can't reach you....that pisses off twankers like that....

That work to but I like killing them. Those moments when it takes them 5 tanks to destroy your ONE tank is the best. Just shows how bad all twankers are.

I sometimes give my tank away to people when I tire of using it or need to go afk for a bit.

 

I even get requests from noobs, and sometimes I comply.

yeah, the cops really do hinder you from a lot..i got a 1 star wanted level just for exiting my car and elbowing the air :\ the police either need a change in AI, or they can simply get the f*ck out the game

 

luckily we have "Police go blind-eye" in Lester's abilities now, cuz nothing is worse than wanting to have fun only to have sh*tty, annoying AIs playing hall monitor with you.

 

too bad that sh*t costs $5000

I always play in a group, although I have my own tricks when I happen to play by myself as well. Tanks are stupid easy, I see kids in tanks all the time who go around killing people, and then I blow them up when they least expect it and they send me a message like:

 

*reported for grieving.* (It's "griefing", but hey..that's what they call it when they send me a message like that, lol.)

 

It's been a while since I've been blown out of a jet. I can imagine soooo many people complaining if they took the tank and military warfare vehicles out of the game completely, including myself..because they don't bother me, even though I have been spawn-camped by both a tank and a jet, there is always a solution.

 

In short: This game is called Grand Theft Auto. It is a game about stealing cars, criminal activity, mayhem, and killing. So of course they would have these vehicles in here to cause destruction and kill people. If you want to Carebear it with your buddy, do so in a private lobby please. We are tired of these threads.

 

The needs and wants of the many, outweigh the needs and wants of the few. Most people would prefer these to stay.

Should have put an APC?? Those shoot like 4 rockets out in 1 second, it would be even more of a warzone with that thing there. Come to think of it, the whole tank thing started in TBoGT, I remember not being able to anything for those f*ckers.

tanks have been apart of GTA long before GTA IV.

 

I get that tanks can be annoying but there is no reason to remove them. I own a tank but hardly ever use it because id rather shoot somebody with a gun than a tank. I also like tanks because I consider it a win whenever im fighting somebody and they go get a tank

Not necessarily, I sometimes do missions with the jet, some of them can be a bit of a pain to pull off at times, like objective in tunnels, the construction site, and in buildings, but it is all possible. and sometimes fun. Also, if you don't like getting griefed, like I said.. there is always the private lobby. Join a few public lobbies, leave, send everyone in that lobby an invite and tell them if they pull out a tank or a jet that they will get booted for it, I mean the best thing about it is..you have control here in the private lobby. Making a thread like this about the same No Tank crap just gets redundant, and nobody likes that.

 

A Public lobby is open to everyone, that includes the complete d-bags, but hey at least you have the benefit of seeing the nastier ones sent to the Bad Sport lobby (GTAV Prison).This is Grand Theft Auto. Not Grand Carebear Sim City Pony Ride.

I do not think there should be a no-tank lobby option, I think there should be a can't-be-killed-by-bullets-or-explosions lobby option, so you can still run around and kill police & NPCs with your guns etc. but they have no effect on the other players, a version of passive mode.

I think when you get inside a tank or jet it should take you into "WAR MODE" where you are automatically taken into a solo session to do what you want against NPCs or into a session with only other people in tanks and fight it out amongst yourselves. Just my 2 cent

If this was battlefield, then the Bad Sports lobby would not exist. Bad Sports was created as a deterrent for those constantly using a tank, buzzard, or jet. Every time someone goes to Bad Sport, they stay there twice as long, then it bumps up even higher than twice as long.

 

I'm just saying that there are far more solutions to the problems, than just demanding that R* pamper everyone that dislikes these God Vehicles of Mayhem. Heists haven't been in this game for...how long now? I really don't want to know what kind of other problems would arise if R* even attempted to make these lobbies available. Besides, I guarantee you, that If R* made these lobbies available, the next popular thread on here would be "Why is there so many dead lobbies?"
