Merryweather jeep

just got rid of mine for a clean Clean Rebel (again) (must've done that switcheroo at least 5 times now). sometimes i feel like having the Rebel's bouncy suspension, sometimes like the Merry Mesa's badassery. the save editor sure softens the wait for that second garage when i'll finally can have both.

 

this is in my garage now

 

and this had to go. ignore the missing bumper, fell off from crashing.

 

Hey man, if you're in PS3 can you dupe me one of those cageless jeep?

I got my baby back. I just asked a random to please send mercs to me.

Strange...I lost mine and my friend lost his...Mine was from killing the mercs and his was from the gang attack. I was gonna try to get them back but I heard they are no longer storable.

I've got mine from a mission ('A Titan of a Job' on patch 1.10 FWIW). Maybe that has something to do with it?

I had mine before 1.12 and replaced it with a duped Hotknife....when 1.12 came out R* took my Hotknife so I stole another Merryweather Mesa and stored it no problem

K think theres SIX mesa versions, all in either hard top or soft top

normal version no one cares about

merryweather w cage, bumpers n large tires

Cageless, lifted, glitched and brought into online mesa....basically a mw mesa w no cage or snorkle

 

All can tracked, insured, and driven into lsc normally.

 

The glitched version can obviously only be aquired by duping it off someone or bringing it in from story yourself. Merryweathers show up in some gang attacks and when the mercs get sent after someone. Not sure if any or which cars can be saved from missions. Normals can be found...who cares.

 

Still have mine from a while back, check sig......gotta hold on tight to my rare/specials till a new sp>mp glitch for ps3 is found.....

 

Not sure if op meant he had them removed from garage or meant he tried to store one and it didnt work. How does one get one wo mission, gang attack, or duping it off someone else? I thought those were only sources?

 

Also the only sp>mp glitch working as of now for ps3 needs the use of a lag switch. If they cant be stored from mission or gang attack, the dupe/store unstorable cars glitch should work.

For what it's worth, here's mine:




Looks black in most lights, but it's actually Midnight Purple - got a cool iridescent sheen from certain angles. Based it a little on the jeep used by 'The Wrath' (basically an evil Batman-rip-off) - although for totally accuracy, I'd need a honkin' big chain-gun strapped to the roof...

...aw, hell - now I really want to strap a honkin' big chain-gun to the roof of my Mesa. #firstworldproblems

This. Donno why you would have lost yours. I do know you can now store the clean rebel no prob. Karin logo won't show whee you look at the stats in your garage but it's there, tracked and insured.

Invite someone with a high-enough level into a session, then get them to set the mercs on you, then kill them and steal one of their jeeps. Ideally, meet up with the other person when you do so, and you can both chew through the Merryweather goons in no time. It's no loss to the other person, since they get a full refund if the mercs don't kill their mark.

 

(I'd help, but I'm on 360 only, I'm afraid!)

I got my friend one the other day, got him to hide in the train tunnel on Alta street and called the mercs in and shotgunned the lot of them when they turned up. If anyone on xbox wants one i can call the mercs on you, you can hide and i'll take them out for you too, Not on for the next week as going on holiday, but send me a message on here and will sort it when i'm back.

Mines still there as of last night, got mine the old fashioned way of watching someone else have to deal with the Mercs while I was close by and jumped in one (was a low level at the time, I didn't even stick around to know if they survived)

Still had it yesterday. But got rid of it....what a shame that such a cool looking offroad vehicle is so terrible. No power and flips over after any semi hard turn.

 

Mine has competition suspension. Doesn't flip that often, but you sacrifice clearance.

 

and it actually has a lot of power in first gear. Its keeping it in first that's the trick. I've cat walked mine numerous times because of the power. Pop up over a hill onto a flat stretch and she'll keep the front two tires in the air.

It's very easy to get one. Just call mercs on someone, keep close till they show up to kill your target. Steal the car and take off.

Love mine. Had one, someone sent mercs after me a couple of days ago. Given that the one from the gang attack can't be stored anymore, I figured I'd keep another one and have one in each garage once high life update comes out.

I still have two of them in my main characters garage. One SP2MP and one from mercinary attack.

And I still have this one for my second character (SP2MP and edited in save editor)

Doors manually removed by opening a door and having a friend hit it with a car.

The process went much faster after I removed the 100% armor. lol

Still a PITA though.
