Lmao. OP - I haven't been on today so I have no clue but I hope to God that it's fixed though. Freezing in GTA is the most annoying thing...

Literally froze right after applying the patch, nothing else yet though (knocks on wood)

 

Heh. that happens a few times when display resolution is changing .

 

I hope that's all it was, it'd be nice if the patch actually fixes the freezing problem nope still freezing

Played Solo without any freezing for a full hour and a half :panic: Not normal lol. Normally freezes within an hour. Once froze in 2 minutes. Never seems to freeze in public lobbys(lobbies?....ah feck it) for me, just solo/invite modes.

Nope, but I rarely freeze to begin with. I did however have at least two crew members freeze today.

The game still freezes, I froze 3 times today, but they definitely don't happen as often as they used to.

i played 5 minutes, got the tank into somebody's garage then it froze on me. crewmember in the same session said he froze too so probably a coincidence but people are freezing at the same time, so its not console always.

yeah it's really annoying. i just froze again when i was loading up gta online. thats never happen before.

Too early to tell but I did some PS3 maintenance for the first time ever, restored the files & rebuilt the data with noticeable results, silky smooth now, I'd recommend it you haven't, even if it doesn't solve the freezing problem. You don't have to backup your save files or anything, quite simple, just search on youtube for a good vid if you're unsure how to do it like I was.

Im also running an 80G Fat boy original.

I was just on a money grind, 8 minutes into a deathmatch, 10-0 with 2 mins from a couple thousand RP and GTA$ when my sh*t froze. How f*cking convienant.
