i just ran into d worst hacker i've seen on gta online,his username bulletbelt666, he had an anti aim hack, then he kept glitching right behind me so he could kill me, and when i called him for being a hacker, he forced me out of the game session using a hack, people like that destroy gaming, in reality they are just crap gamers, only way they win is by hacking.

By and large, knowing the difference is irrelevant. They are, technically, both a violation of the TOS and the EULA.

 

There is a difference. Modding is just modifying the the system, either hardware or firmware to add or change a function. In this case, he's changing his characters appearance. Hacking is something someone does when they want to seek out and exploit any weaknesses in a computer system or computer network. In this case, they might use it for the DNS servers or when someone in MW2 attempts boot the host out using an IP injection.

 

One is for fun and the other is for personal gain.

 

 

And yet both are against the console and software TOS and EULA.

 

I don't really care whether you're a modder or not, it's your business. But please don't pretend that you're somehow justified because "modding makes it more fun."
