Thats the thing isn't it, no one knows if it causes freezes or other negative effects on the game.

But because people think its just messing around they feel its ok to do.

 

The bottom line is, bending the game in ANY way to make it different from how its meant to be is increasing the chances of it having negative effects on the game or other players.

It would be interesting to see how many people who posted saying it wouldn't bother them have previously moaned about their game freezing

1. When did Rockstar ever say that that was the reason? Do you work there or know anyone from Rockstar personally? Do you really think that they don't have enough people... or teams that work specifically on one aspect of a game?

 

2. If someone is running around as monkey in the game at least they're making the game fun and harming no one. The same goes for people that are mad about those who own the Buffalo 2. It's not really a big deal. Neither person is "cheating" because cheating means to act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, esp. in a game or examination. So in response to everyone that keeps saying "cheating is cheating"... you guys need to learn what cheating actually is before you enter into this discussion.

The game is so full of harmful glitches and freezes already. Besides, you have no evidence to back your claims.

-The guy who codes the next minigame is the same guy who does patches. That is how game designing works (Computer Science Major here), and fixing an exploit that can cost them money is a priority for a business.

 

-You defined cheating well and I agree with the definition you gave. Now the OP is in the grey, those who dupe cars however are cheating. They are acquiring a car for free, a car that should have been paid for with GTA Bucks. They are also stealing from Rockstar because GTA Bucks have a monetary value (About $20/Million). So if you gain GTA Bucks in a way that violates their Terms of Service, you are a thief.
