I wish I could stop caring about things enough to play video games or watch TV all day and not feel bad for doing it. If it wasn't like that then I'd love to act like a child, but now it feels wrong. For the most part, I have never changed to so-called "grow up" people keep often yelling at others. Though, it has never come in the way of my career or life. I always love being a mixture of both, childish and matured, but not to artifice in any manner, rather just being myself. So, yes. (Even up to the day when I graduated high school) These days, I decided to revisit my Get Along Gang obsession. My living room is practically a shrine to that cartoon. I have the figurines on my computer desk. Plushies of Dotty Dog & Portia Porcupine on my couch and a set up with the Clubhouse Caboose, along the complete set of the dozen smaller figurines on a shelf. You've basically described every Jewish man in the world. There's nothing wrong with this. For the record, I like my dignity, of which I had very little as a child. Thus I don't like behaving like a child. However It's important for kids to have the oppurtunity to have a childhood, and I can understand if those who missed out on one feel the need to behave childishly as adults to compensate. I do have moments when I want to revisit my high school days but that's a completely different thing to eating chicken nuggets and watching Power Rangers as I did when I was a little kid.
