Rockstar agrees to unlock achievements

Per technical support the "record holder" and "all rounder" achievements should be unlocked for me in the next few days. I submitted proof to Rockstar that I earned the achievements but did not get the rewards. Cool story huh?

My uncle use to call up Taco Bell and other fast food places complain about the food so they would give him free food the next time he came in.

 

They eventually got wise to his tricks and actually had a "Do not give this man, free coupons anymore" signs in the managers office

I never got the achievement where you get an apartment, insured car and garage (despite having two characters have an apartment each).
It's just blocked for me. It's annoying because I need 3 achievements to 1000gamerscore GTA V and this is one of the three.

That happened to me... Moving to a different apartment got it for me.

Happened to me when I bought the apartments through the signs in front of them, I had to buy it Online the 2nd time to pop it.

 

Anyway cool story OP, glad to know.. didn't know that was possible, usually people just retry it as much as it takes.

Gamerscore is a nice number.

Gives you some challenges to complete in a game.

Setting the fastest time wasn't a piece of cake given all the hackers out there as well as the sheer number of people who play the game. I had to do a bunch of laps to set the fastest time and I'd like the tattoo that comes with it. My other character got the award earlier when the servers were reset or something. I did set the legit 53rd fastest lap.

I never got the fastest time, but I have the save for the 100% still and in my stats it shows I've done all the required things to get 1st place in (even parachute and gang attack)

Joker, did you buy the apartment using the sign in front of the building, or did you use the Dynasty website ? The only way you'll get the trophy is by making the real estate purchase through the website.

Just to let people know,

for this achievement/trophy you have to buy the apartment from the internet,when you purchase the apartment from the street ,it doesnt count it

go to Dynasty estate and buy it from there

then you get the achievement

we just have to buy a second property on the same character. At this point, might as well wait for the spring update that will allow a 2nd property. Or you could swap your apt for a 10 car garage if you can't wait.

Because on Rewards.Xbox.com and even through your Xbox itself you gain rewards by having a bigger score. On the rewards site, you gain tiers of discounts depending on your gamer score which offers you discounts on purchases made online (such as Arcade games or movies/music).

 

Also, each purchase racks up points which, once enough are accumulated via a monthly survey, purchases and achievements or challenges, Microsoft deposits MONEY back into your account to be used once again for DLC, music, etc.

 

So, what is gamer score for? A lot more than you probably thought.
