The tank requires no skill whatsoever, whilst the buzzard and jets do require skill. Even though many fly the jet most can't use it properly and end up crashing before they kill anyone, since they rely on the lock on missiles and try to use them against players on foot, instead of using the cannons. The buzzard is even more difficult to use effectively without being shot out from it, since it's only effective when circling around players and only a tiny minority of people who have ever flown the buzzard know you can do that let alone know how to do it themselves.

besides , all vehicle has weakness :

Rhino = the engine vent is vuneable to gunfire

jets = takes 4 shots with heavy sniper

buzzard = an inexperienced pilot are not accurate to use rockets due wobble . but engine can be easily shot with a sniper / heavy

I disagree that ANYONE can roll around impervious in a tank. Good Lazer pilots, and co-piloted Buzzards are the bane of the Rhino. The point I'm making with this thread is that not only are combat vehicles not just for trolls, they also aren't as impervious as people make out.

 

In my opinion, if you let yourself get spawn trapped by a tank and killed over and over, then he deserves those kills, and you deserve to die. Play smart.

I get your point, and with that I agree. I know it takes skill to pwn in a tank when you are actually facing tough opponents. The point I was trying to make though, is that a lot of people don't have the skill to take on a tank...even if the tank is driven by the worst player ever. I've seen so many of such losers go on endless killing sprees against other losers, and took me little to no effort to dispose of them....but the skillless driver still got away with a k/d ratio that puts mine to shame.

I haven't seen much tanks in my sessions honestly. Took out a jet with the Heavy Sniper (like you said) a few days ago, felt satisfying. The Buzzard I destroyed also with the minigun while I had a bounty.
