Actor questions!

How does this work. If i put capture object in to a actor, can i, and how i make him run away from me, so i have to chase him?

 

Is there anyway to control where he would go?

 

 

Also if Actor is in my team will it follow me (enter a car if i go) and if it's driver and i enter car with capture object, will it drive to the capture point?

You can't make an actor hold on to a capture object, but you can make him guard it. If he is on your team, he will not follow you, only defend the area you assign him too. It will not go to the capture area or leave it's designated area. Hope this helped.

I have a question. I noticed that If you set an actor to pilot any aircraft like a P996 Lazer, they don't actually take off or shoot you with the built in weapons. Can someone explain?

You have to set him to Defensive as opposed to Aggressive to make him run away; it's one of the settings.

 

As for your latter question, I'm almost done working one one that will test that out. I'm curious myself. I'm going to try and play it tonight and let you know how it goes.

The fact that you can have aggressive clowns inspired me to make an Akira themed Capture job called Battle Against the Clowns.

So here's the problem. I have a bunch of armed clowns. I placed them on motorcycles and placed the objective bags on them; which does work. The players have fun hunting the clowns on bikes however when the clowns respawn, they don't respawn on bikes. Is there a way to change this so they respawn mounted on the bike the way they are when the match starts. They respawn with the bags no problem, but on foot.

Not that I know of. when an npc dies they respawn at their original spawn point however I have had a group respawn next to their vehicle after dying instead of their original spawn point so I'm not to sure how it works.

 

How do you place bags/objects on actors? This I can't figure out and wish you could disable god mode in testing.

YES. Thank you. Is there no way to do that?

I keep trying to tweak the spawn bubble on this capture in the tunnels ( http://rsg.ms/1lYGzBY ) because players can spawn outside or in some weird sealed car tunnel. However I can't die in the test.

 

As for objectives on actors: just place the actor, then select the objectives and place them right on top of the actor model. It works for me.

I did that with this Akira job: the Clowns respawn with the objective bags and their guns but I can't seem to get them to respawn with their bikes.
