Which Free Mode would you choose if there were two variants?

I'd probably switch back and forth like I already do with the aim servers.

I really don't know how the mass community would respond to it though, it could go either way IMO.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages..

So I would say make them both available.

Start from GTAO Free Mode as we know it now and if you want customisable free modes like gta iv,you host and join from the phone like the other modes

Stick with the standard.

A cop free map would only lead to even more asshole players.

Option 3:

Would you rather be stuck in someone else's svcky customizable version where everything is left on and the host who set it up is vacant or ignorant to player's screams?

As with IV and V at present, if you don't like it, find another session.

I'd go option 2.

Why no poll?

It kills the 'debate'.

Edit: And the answer it obviously yes, so most will tick yes, except for the few who are too narrow-minded.

Yes they are.

i see where some people come from about being put into servers with the dumbest settings, but still, the lack of options makes it boring and tedious

punch 1 pedestrian = forced police chase

an easy fix would be a server browser, most online games do this, no idea why R* is slipping up on these things

I would play a little of both, sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't :beerhat:

Option 2. Friendly fire off lobbies would be fun of people having fun, while the current free modes would be an never ending deathmatch/griefing fest as it is at this moment.

Its one of the main reasons i miss GTA IV

Funny... Alls i remember is people fighting over attack helicopters and then using them against players on the ground in game. And thats...pretty much it.

That was 99% of my free roam experience in GTA 4. And I played GTA 4 alot...

GTA IV MP: "Your choices are: kill each other in and around the airport or driving in and around the airport stunting! We only included the rest of the map as a way to troll people into thinking GTA IV would be anything else!"

That's how I remember it. Good times, but as I say, it's a different game. Just porting the settings over won't work because GTAO is totally different format.
