picking up ammo ?

Although I have nearly all possible guns when ammo is on floor I never seem to pick it up , is it just the gun your using that it allows you to pick up ?

It has to be a certain weapon you're holding to be able to pick up that ammo.

So you could change your weapon to suit what is hanging about on The floor

Still cant pick up weapons. If I have over 1000 rounds it wont pick it up no matter what, correct weapon or not.

I use the drop weapons to help out low ranking players on missions, but that still doesn't explain why I cant pick up the hundreds of rounds laying on the ground, ready to be used. =\

I stopped being able to pick up ammo once I got over 1,000 bullets. I don't even bother with it anymore either. I just hate the fact that when I drop my gun, fully loaded with ammo or not, it makes me pick it back up or pay for it again. It's a nuisance.

About 2 months ago, I used the "purchase all ammo" option. My shotgun and sniper haven't had ammo below 5000 since then, but I run out of ammo for the other weapons every day. Since then, I haven't been able to pick up shotgun, sniper, or explosive ammo. I can only pick up RPG ammo if I'm holding it. I'm not sure what that's about.

Ahh so that's why I can never pick up RPG rockets, thanks for the info.
