I agree some youtubers are just for the money but there are channels that only do youtube for fun example The Creatures, Achievement Hunter, The Runaway guys and more that make good content and yes they make money from youtube cause of google ads but they dont do fake videos or if they dont like what they made they dont put it up cause the care for the viewer.

I agree that some people underestimate the work that goes into it but this only applies for some channels, a channel like TheGamingLemon clearly puts a huge amount of work into his videos what with all the editing and script writing. This doesn't apply to a lot of channels though, all most channels have to do to grow and become successful is stick to it and keep the work rate up, considering most of these videos require very little editing 'working' essentially means playing the game, something most gamers would be doing any way. I'm happy for a lot of Youtubers because they earn money from something they love and something that I'd love to earn money from.

I just don't appreciate all of the fake love they show for their fan base, the repetitiveness, the unoriginality and simplicity of a lot of their videos. I particularly don't like the ones who think that they are some kind of innovative business mastermind just for running a gaming channel, not because I look down on gaming but because in most cases its a simple overdone idea.

If I'm already aware of what the content entails, why would I bother watching the video to begin with? If I don't support the use of harmful exploits, why would I watch a video pertaining to the promotion of that, or a Youtuber in general who would promote that? Why would I videos with a premise of "DLC news guys! I heard from a friend of a friend that posts on GTAF that someone made a thread and found a few lines of code and heists will be coming NEXT WEEK OMG GUISE".

 

Yeah, no thanks. I'll stick to Youtubers who pride themselves on creating good quality and entertaining videos if you don't mind.

 

Edit: Just to add: Don't need to watch DomisLive's videos either. His participation on here pretty much proved that popular opinion regarding him is on the money.

YouTubers are not like us , they may share passion for the same game but YouTubers are paid thousands of dollars some get that each month , and they post glitch after glitch after glitch. Some of them make living from posting game breaking glitches . Yes some of you like to ride their saddle so you don't actually have to grind for anything , I know everyone cannot play the game as much as others , but enough is enough ..... Some of us have had accounts banned and cheaters pool . Yet we still watch the glitches and support these PAID channels that ruin the game that we all love . They are the reason why we have had 12 patches and they have ad money to buy new consoles after they get banned and we suffer and have to work for another console.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND WE NEED TO STOP SUPPORTING THESE CHANNELS , some of you may curse me out but atleast imagine if these YouTubers didn't post glitches all the time , people wouldn't use wall breeches , level 4's wouldn't have chrome adders driving out of eclipse towers and we wouldn't have seen these DNS servers babies that have level 1000 ranks and every Pegasus vehicle in the game

The thing that annoys me most is the youtubers who scour these and other forums and "discover" something new that "they" found.

"I discovered this, it belongs to me".

At least give credit assholes.

 

Example, If Wanes ever revealed his Blue Tits glitch, it's be 5mis before some random put up a video saying "look what I totally found out on my own! Aren't I amazing! This glitch belongs to me! Like so your penis doesn't get stuck in Chop!" (Don't ever reveal it Wanes )

 

I youtube myself occasionally, though I don't have a capture card, don't moneytize and don't take it seriously.

I don't go all "like and sub my sh*tty badly edited animation so you don't get cancer of the anus!"

I just throw my sh*tty weird stuff out there for people to watch if they wanna.
