We need to stop YouTube from using us !

YouTubers are not like us , they may share passion for the same game but YouTubers are paid thousands of dollars some get that each month , and they post glitch after glitch after glitch. Some of them make living from posting game breaking glitches . Yes some of you like to ride their saddle so you don't actually have to grind for anything , I know everyone cannot play the game as much as others , but enough is enough ..... Some of us have had accounts banned and cheaters pool . Yet we still watch the glitches and support these PAID channels that ruin the game that we all love . They are the reason why we have had 12 patches and they have ad money to buy new consoles after they get banned and we suffer and have to work for another console.

THIS IS NOT RIGHT AND WE NEED TO STOP SUPPORTING THESE CHANNELS , some of you may curse me out but atleast imagine if these YouTubers didn't post glitches all the time , people wouldn't use wall breeches , level 4's wouldn't have chrome adders driving out of eclipse towers and we wouldn't have seen these DNS servers babies that have level 1000 ranks and every Pegasus vehicle in the game

But it's futile to "fight" it. 12 year olds will be 12 year olds & continue to seek out these videos....and for every sucker there's always a snake oil salesman to give them the "goods".

Most of these guys are SMALL in comparison to someone like The Syndicate Project, PewDiePie, RoosterTeeth, TheRadBrad, TetraNinja, or KYRspeedy. They don't make thousands off of posting little glitches and you guys need to quit complaining. Just be another one of those annoying pricks who claims false copyright or illegal ownership on one of their videos or having innapropriate content. The YouTube guidlines are so messed up that you can falsly have channels banned or removed by simply making false claims. Now while you cry about how another person spends their time and earns their money I'm going to go play a game.

I thought this too, I had this debate with another user recently and we both came to the conclusion that to be honest people may as well take what they like from the forum unless specified by the 'owner' because all you really have to do to be considered part of this community is make a username and a password, its not like its some premium exclusive members club, anyone can join for free. That being the case the only step against anyone taking ideas from us would be that you have to ask the 'owner' even if you are also a member of the forum, if that was the case this community would be no where near as large or successful as it is today.

I don't think he is. Anyone can spend 30-100 dollars on a capture card, record & slap a voice-over the recording. It's just that rather than use it for good or constructive things, most just use it to whore themselves & their integrity for a monthly check you can get working at McDonald's...

you don't understand how much time and effort you have to put into making videos, sure you have the idea, now you have to lay it out and make sure everyone will understand the video and make a thumbnail pic, you can't just start out of no where and expect all these views, it takes time, likely 1-2 years to build a core YouTube base. also, making money through YouTube is very smart, my dad always told me, work is time and time is money and those who snooze will lose.

You're trying to tell me that Domislive actually puts effort into his videos? Or that any other "hey guys, what up I gotta new GTA Online glitch just for you, be sure to hit that like button & subscribe for new content" YT'er makes an effort?

I can literally plug a capture card, record myself doing a glitch, transfer it to my PC, add a 3 minute voice-over which consists of 2 minutes of whoring for likes/subs & 30 seconds of glitch time with audacity & Sony Vegas (Hell, you can use Pineapple or Camtasia, you don't need a high level editor for these videos) & render the video in less than 40 minutes...30 of which are spent on the rendering. Oh yeah, and I can use any photo editing software to type a font into an image-still in less than a minute.

That's not an effort. An effort would be having to create your own 100% original content. The glitch they feature isn't even their own. they took it from someone else. They are basically profiting off of other's work. It's disgusting.

 

It doesn't take years to make a fanbase, not for these sleazeballs anyway. And that includes assholes like PewDiePie, iJustine (f*ck that whore), RWJ or Smosh.

i know there are legitimate YT'ers who make original content or who at least put effort into writing decent scripts (Rifftrax, Freeman's Mind, etc) but most of the successful YT'ers are hacks who take the work of others and add the bare minimum of "work" into it & call it a day.

First it was "reviewers", then "ranters"...... now it's people who have never picked up a controller prior to this moment making "gaming" channels.

 

 

Yes, making money is always smart....but what about moral integrity? Am I willing to sell my integrity for such a low price? I'd rather die without YT money & dignity intact than 400 dollars richer & have the deserved loathing of people & empty integrity. Do you think the people who know these hacks IRL hold them in high self-esteem? Basically these people are the same people who kiss the boss's ass at work, blow the company head or act like a dick in the name of a raise at work.
